If I was a high level Xbox Microsoft employee I'd probably be pissed off right now too. Coming from the Xbox OG and 360, both iconic hardcore centric consoles to what it has become today, which is something more thought up by suits and corporate vultures than gamers, I can imagine the frustration. If the Xbox had been your life's work, what Microsoft has done with the Xbox One must be a particularly hard pill to swallow. It's a far cry from their design ethos of old. As is management in general.

Although I didn't like Microsoft's PR in this last year, although I agree that they and the XBO rightfully deserves some ridicule, just so they don't forget to not repeat certain decisions, and although I like myself some buttocks drama, this here is going too far.
A user posts a PM with statements that CBoaT himself apparently doesn't want to make public because he himself is not sure if they are true. Why make things public if we have no evidence to evaluate whether they are true?
Nevertheless, a lot of people immediately start speculating and over-interpreting the thin evidence. Connecting "explosive" with RROD, for instance, is so far-fetched that it is almost ridiculous.
This is how unsubstantiated rumors/guesses start to evolve into "facts". No matter if it is Microsoft or Sony, this is not how things should work.

Because I am a proud American, and a lot of the hate is coming from American Gaffers. Both systems will pump out great games, and I am sick of the immature MS sucks in every thread. This whole topic is trying to bring down the Xbone.

.thats because the PM to Bish actually contained some content...the PM posted in this thread doesnt say SHIT...nothing is revealed, no bombs dropped...no truthfacts, just nothing...
all he says is that there is nothing he can say that will change the minds of people who really want the Xbone...and that he has other info but it cant be verified or is too dangerous....
this has all been hinted at before...frankly its no different that Bish making the "back to the bunker" statement...its nothing...
no trust is broken here...no moral code shattered...
So you are saying that if someone posted your PM's you'd be fine with that and you think that's a good moral and ethical rule for forum users to use... which leads to to everyone having no trust when sending a PM to someone or assurance that a PRIVATE message is actually that ?

It is NOTHING to do with the content of the message, It is the fact it's a PM that is posted.

Because their nationality can get fucked with the plans they initially planned to roll out, and even afterwards they have to provide enough that I want first. Nevermind how the lines blur for large corporations, everyone assembles in China and much of Sony's game development occurs in Europe and America anyway. Blind patriotism can be awfully idiotic besides.

What does this have to do with anything other than you looking for an excuse to defend your favoured console? Also, how exactly is anyone proud of being accidentally born onto some random patch of land?
Here's what I don't get about CBOAT. He's supposed to be a Microsoft insider but how did he not leak the DRM reversal (said it was going to get worse), the removal of "always connected" Kinect, the indie program (said it was going to be heavily restricted), the "every Xbox" is a debug unit, the full exclusivity of Titanfall (said it was a timed exclusive), the release of Killer Instinct and Halo 5, free games included with Euro launch, and the CPU/GPU upclock? It just seems weird that none of this was picked up as they were pretty big announcements.

I just hope people realize not all Americans blindly support American companies even if they come up with horrible policies.
Oh, and I wish people would stop saying Sony was going to do the same stuff because all rational statements after that are null and void as if we didn't go through that phase where every person in denial repeated that 50 times over. It's one thing if the DRM didn't bother you, it's another thing to shout from the rooftops that Sony was no better and was doing the exact same thing without any proof at all while then claiming CBoaT is spreading FUD because he has no proof. Too ironic.
im not defending online paywalls...but i accept them as part of console gaming...ive got years of XBL paid for an banked...doesnt mean i like it...
just simply pointing out that multiplayer paywall or not PS+ shits on XBL from a value standpoint...
considering the complete lack of any sort of private content in the PM that was posted? i just dont see the big deal...
if Cboat had elaborated on the "explosive" issues...like he did to Bish...then yes it shouldn't be posted...

Titanfall was a timed exclusive. It was just recently made a one game full on exclusive and even Respawn seemed to be taken aback.

If you cultivated a persona that allows you to discuss aspects of your business and/or company with some assumed anonymity you would be in character at every turn.
Anyway, we are all entitled to assume our private messages (between members anyway) are exactly that. This is a breach of trust and a pretty horrible thing to do to another member in pursuit of thread clicks.

1. The DRM decision may have been made public within few hours of deciding on it, so there probably was no point in leaking that
2. Same for always connected Kinect
3. Regarding the Indie program: As far as we knoiw what he said was true at that point in time
4. As for Titanfall: We do know it was only timed exclusive at the time.
The other news don't seem so important to me, really. And he doesn't leak a lot of game announcements (although of course I'd appreciate info on Rare
).
