Because the entire premise is ridiculous? Apparently low levels being leeched over a long period is very bad, and the fillings are the source of this. Yet removing them brings instant relief. That doesn't seem to follow.
A very plausible explanation for the hearing thing was actually posted by somebody within the first several posts. You'll notice in my original post I claimed tbehearing was ANOTHER reason to consider removing them.
