This is a clear response to Marvel Avengers.
You can see it because it goes full coop and the way they also implemented those RPG elements.
Attacks now having hit damage numbers completely suggestion armour parts customization and stuff like many RPG games do.
It looked polish enough and cool, not gonna lie, but it also feels like a a mid point spin off game to the rumoured court of owls one.
No way they're killing Batman over a coop game to play with the Bat family.

It's playable offline so I'm there day 1. Game is basically Batman's Creed with Co-op. Looks much better than the Avengers game shoving Kamala down your throat.

Guys this is not GaaS. This is an offline action RPG. Destiny and Avengers comparisons doesn't make sense. This is more of an Assassin's Creed.

The game feels GaaS to me, but I didn't watched the presentation, just the trailers.
By the way Robin's armour, with clean head armour, and that blinking stuff he uses to move himself through the scenario, makes him look like Flash with a cape lol.

I was hoping they would contract platinum games or another Japanese developer to make a Batgirl game that had a dating/social network aspect to it from the Batgirl Of Burnside run. I think that could be a nice change up from the Arkham series.

Still the numbers that pop out when enemies are hit just irritates me and tells me that the game is heading in the wrong branch of RPG. Leveling, xp, loot etc. are just ridiculous for Batman Universe imo. Will skip this game.

Makes no sense since they used same voice actor from Origins for Bruce's voice. Mark my words this is night of owls and battle for the cowl storyline. Batman will be in it maybe in expansion if they are doing the whole GAAS. Faking his death was something that he did in battle for the cowl. I believe they are tying that into court of owls. Every character deals with batmans death differently in battle for the cowl. Jason comes back into the fold, and later in the series him and dick fight. Someone takes up batman role by the end.

Meaning it was probably made on the same engine Arkham Knight was made. Meaning it's the same cross gen PS3/PS4 variant of unreal engine.

It should still look and run significantly better on the PS5 and XSX. Batman: Arkham Knight looks and runs significantly better on my PC (which has a 1080Ti) than it did on my base PS4.
