We were kind of spoiled indeed, let's be honest.
I never finished those 2 Batman games. I know I've played AK, but don't remember Origins.
So they are better than the OG and Batman City???

"Players can level up their characters, but enemies will be automatically leveled up as well."
How else will they sell time savers? How else can they have a loot based economy without bullet spongy enemies? And without massive amounts of loot how can they sell cosmetics? You dont need to be a rocket scientist to see where this is going.Sorry, need to have a rant about this game. According to Wikipedia:
Seriously, what's the point of putting in levelling systems if the enemies level up to keep step with you? It's utterly pointless and also annoying as hell. This nonsense spoiled Assassin's Creed Odyssey for me. Ugh.
I much prefer the need to level up in order to more effectively handle enemies in a new zone, etc. It makes the player feel as though they are progressing. Of course, one could choose to also take on the enemies earlier, for the extra challenge. Hopefully this level scaling crap can be turned off.
You’ll grind for his gold codpiece with a smile ear to earJesus, some moan jobs in here. Looks great! Nice to see a Batman universe game with other playable characters.
Nightwing day 1.

Pretty much this, don't get me wrong I'd have loved a next gen full fat batman game but I can't really get mad at this when its not even called a batman game. It is what it is.You see Batmans name in the title? No? Then shut the fuck up. xD
A franchise that should be about stealth action is now an action rpg. Let that sink in.
What the fuck.
I don't know, some of the most fun I've had in the later Splinter Cell games came out of the coop modes. Coordinated takedowns are a lot more tense and fun than coordinated beatdowns, IMO.Co-op demands more action. Stealth fits pure single player more.

All of this. This game is going to be mtx filled, live service bullshit, and we’d all better get used to the fact. I sure as shit won’t be buying it, and if you don’t want more and more games like this and Avengers, I’d suggest you don’t buy it either.
This include gameplay.? Because definitely is last gen.art direction is last gen
Game runs on OG xbox1. Ofc it's last gen on PS3/PS4 cross gen engine. This include gameplay.? Because definitely is last gen.
It looked fun and I'm glad I can play solo. But does anyone actually think Batman is dead..? I bet he comes back in the last third of the story. I don't believe the first Batman game this gen doesn't have Batman.
Will combat feel like the Arkham games? Is this a familiar beat 'em up combat system?
Patrick Redding: "We have gone through and iterated on control schemes quite a bit over the course of the whole project, but it'll be comfortable to people who are familiar with third-person brawler type experiences."
"The way you're accessing some of your special moves and things like that can vary I'm sure, but in terms of having both attack and defensive choices, having a range of combo choices, having variations in strike types and attack types, being able to combo in your ranged attacks as well as your melee attacks - all of that is there, and I think will be comfortable for people who have played modern, contemporary third-person action-adventure style brawlers."
What does co-op offer above single player? Can two players play co-op with the same character?
Patrick Redding: "Because the characters are so distinct from each other, there's a bit of asymmetry, a bit of the complimentary skill set and ability set that actually makes teaming up kind of awesome if you happen to have different characters.
"Now, if you happen to have two Batgirls, you can also do that. Obviously, the potential of having different Batgirl builds, and how they look different and play differently is really cool too."

So many people were insisting this was an Arkham game. There’s some inspiration but it’s quite different also. Was this always a non-Arkham game?
Patrick Redding: "Yes, 100%
Im still more excited for this than Suicide Squad The Videogame even if its basically Batman without Batman, fuck that movieGotham Knights: Our Biggest Questions, Answered - IGN

I like this is not a GaaS. That’s some good news. And also this:

I wish Batman was one of the playable characters. It has been 6 years since Arkham Knight was released.
We need a goddamn 60 FPS patchI wish Batman was one of the playable characters. It has been 6 years since Arkham Knight was released.
It's just to give you the illusion of progress while trying to sell you stuff through mtx to "get an edge" over the enemies who level up same as you.Sorry, need to have a rant about this game. According to Wikipedia:

I’m thinking flashback where you play as him.I'm sure he will be added as dlc at some point.
never doubt that part.
but what is not still not clear is if this 2 player coop is hiding a gaas or not.
is solo offline or are we always connected ?
This shit has 2022 written all over itI can't help but feel like this is going to be delayed.
Don't worry, after this flops you'll get your single player batman game.I wish Batman was one of the playable characters. It has been 6 years since Arkham Knight was released.
I really hope. I want so much a new Batman Arkham game !Don't worry, after this flops you'll get your single player batman game.
There is NO SHOT of Batman not being in this game as a playable character. They didn't show him, but I guarantee he's unlockable or comes up part way through the main story when his death ends up being BS (like it always is in any Batman story with him dying).Don't worry, after this flops you'll get your single player batman game.
