"I slept at 4:00 AM for this piece of shit and I'm a big SE fan" / 10

Honestly though:
- GotG is nice but... That's what the SE fans aren't hyped out about (and I'm guessing what majority who were watching are the fans of FF, DQ, etc.). They're like completely different markets and it shouldn't have been 20 minutes about that.
- People were traumatized about the Avengers debacle hence people were wary about GotG.
- Babylon's Fall didn't need to be GaaS. Plus it looks like shite.
- Way too many FF titles on mobiles and too many reitirations. If they added the console versions, that would be fine even if individually.
- I have yet to see more about FF Origin. Characters look way too... Westernized? But the dialogue is bad.

Despite the Chaos fail, this conference had several games I want to play from developers that I can trust to make great games. Also, props for showing gameplay.

Seeing the production value of GotG, Is it safe to assume Marvel is actually satisfied with the sales of Avengers game ?
because it reminds me of Avengers and clearly GotG looks just as mediocre.

Edit : Also Rated D. It was painful to watch those games after Stalker footage still stuck in my brain.

Chaos, it was so disappointing. Also coming off a strong Microsoft show, really hurt. When I saw Star Lord, I was like here we go again with the character model changes.

GotG was probably in production LONG before Avengers released.

I think funny that people found MS conference cool, and disliked Square as they showed the best game of the day in detail: Guardians of the Galaxy.

Chaos trailer was better than the Starfield reveal. I've got no hype from that lifeless CGI trailer.

This was a joke..

Square Enix appear to be after the Shadow the Hedgehog market with how they won't shut up about Chaos and everything is red and black in the game.

Can someone please explain why the uploaded trailers are filled with so much image noise almost looks like the trailers were captured in PS4/Xbox One using the share functionality and then uploaded to youtube. The quality is looking so bad in babylon's fall trailer and that Guardians Galaxy game has such pathetic frame rates in the trailer, so much texture pop in, lousy character movement/combat animations. Ugh :(

F+. Would be the worse conference I've ever seen but fucking 2k decided to have a games conference without games, so they win by default.

Zero interesting things for me. It's nice that Guardians will be a singleplayer game, but I'm not really into comics and the footage they've shown didn't look very promising.

I'm also pissed they still have the rights to keep releasing shitty Hitman mobile games.

That salt still stinging I see.

No salt, its a statement of fact. And after seeing how people react to actual gameplay footage you can see why the Xbox conference showed so little of it.
Hell, that Outer Wlids 2 trailer wittily self-referenced the phenomenon.

Horrible conference. Lowest possible score given. Nothing on there looks even remotely interesting. I already hated Avengers game, so GotG is instant pass. FF Origins looks like a C-tier parody. Babylon's fall looks like a PS3 free to play game. Its completely awful stuff.

The best conference so far for E3( are we calling it that?)
And it was absolutely shit

Everything was pretty much off in this conference. Those final fantasy origin characters looked weird , so did half the guardians of the galaxy, the platinum game characters looked odd as well. Like what is going on with the character design.

That ff1-6 thing was just plain weird as well and I watched this on the easy allies stream so the lack of music was driving me crazy.

I also would like to say that I'm not a fan of the design of the characters of FF16 as well. FF16 really just seems low budget to me when I compare it to FF15,13, and 10.

It's so depressing to see what Final Fantasy has become over the past two decades.

Wut? Its a spin-off. Its not the main FF effort going forwards. That'd be the ongoing FF7 remake, FFXVI, and both the ongoing MMORPGs.

Its a new action game from the makers of Nioh, one of the most highly rated action/rpg game series of the last gen. That's enough to pique my interest.

That was.... bad. I had absolutely zero expectations and it was still worse than I thought it would be. I can't believe majority of the presentation was Guardians of the Galaxy, lmao. I'm happy for people that are excited, I've seen journals and reporters stating that "a lot of people are excited about it", which I haven't seen first hand whatsoever. I thought it overstayed its welcome in the presentation.

Also, CHAOS!

Marvel and Life is strange were mistakes.
Origins looks like hot garbage.
They should have remade FF 1-6 in HD2D artsyle
No FF16, Remake Part 2, or Forspoken.

Wasn't too good. i suspect most of the interesting stuff will be at the rumored Sony showcase sometime this summer
