Lol they aren't going to delay it now.. that's just the PS store..all the websites here still have it listed as the 24th.

It's not a "legacy model" though. It was modeled to the GT PSP spec, which is quite a bit higher than GT4.

Pre-ordered the CE today at Best Buy. Thankfully the BBs around here always have plenty of pre-orders left for games until like a week before release. :D

I would like to shed light on the versions some users have. They are copies of GT5 but the first run that was pressed wasn't the gold version. The version that was pressed was preview code. Don't ask me how / why I know because those questions are not something I will answer.

In what ways what it a preview code though? This doesn't mean anything. There won't be anymore cars added or tracks is my guess.
 
I've been scoping out and rattling ideas off in my head to build my own wheel stand in case I decide to buy the G27. I got a $50 gift card to Fry's where I can pick up a G27 for $250. Hopefully all materials and such for the stand would cost me less than $50 by just utilizing Home Depot, but we'll see. This way I can hit my goal of having a wheelstand + G27 for under $300.

That's all dependent on whether or not the G27 is fully supported (clutch and six-speed shifter) in GT5 though. Don't like the early rumors that it isn't.
 
Holy shit, that OP is amazing. Never cared for the GT series, but I might very well at least give this one a try. Can't imagine anything else they could've thrown into it.
 
Fine tuning a few things then photo thread will be a go. I want to make sure folks know that all the info is not known yet so locales and other minor details are going to be filled in.

imo I'd wait until the night before launch to post that thread, its kinda anticlimactic right now.
 
Another wonderfully laid out and comprehensive OT, Sir Goldrusher (while I always intended to buy GT5, your OT for RDR turned me on to the game and I'm sure glad for that). OT is looking great.

Ended up buying a Speedblack wheel-stand for my DFGT. Seems to be one of the least expensive ($89) while easy to unhook and store it away as a whole unit. Only found some simple reviews of it, but seemed to go over pretty well. Hoping it will suffice. Can't fracking wait.

We do have captures already. They would need to be rehosted (non imageshack) if posting so I'm going through with it. It's only going to pick up from here on out.

No need to get the photo thread cluttered with chat since no one has photos to post anyways. Our photo source right now is GT Planet, not even GAF.

But, we'll see what happens.

Photos can come from anywhere. As long as the guidelines for the thread are followed I see no issue posting it. I will manually DL and post the images when I get more time. The full game *cough pre code cough* is out and about. Things are going to pick up very fast.

This is getting too political GM :P
