Yes. Head tracking is really cool. And I can't get it to work in anything but Arcade mode. I am disappoint.felipepl said:Anyone with PS Eye can confirm this?

felipepl said:Anyway, hard to understand the omission in Career mode.
Square Triangle said:Checking out the headtracking now, yeah the camera only gives me the red light once I start up Arcade mode. Not entirely bothered by it, pretty fun feature, but it would have been nice in Career.

Tested Trial Mountain again (GT4 track port). Normal race has screen tearing. Time trial, no screen tearing.
London, normal race I didn't bother, time trial had loads of screen tearing still, in the same spots as with "1080p" mode and with cars on the track.

And yes, I'm purposely ignoring everyone's rants until I play the game myself. I better not hate it, I spent hours masking that wheel mount!

Blasphemy. Don't ever buy standard cars and only use cockpit view inside your premiums.Square Triangle said:Omg has anyone driven in the rain yet? There is a really weird pixel blur/water/wtfisthisshit effect all over the cars. This is disgusting.
And it only shows up when you are using the over head cam. =/
Square Triangle said:Don't play with Lyulf, you draft his ass and then once he sees you- pulls a Dale Earnhardt on ya! :lol

Y2Kev said:Yes. The original release of GT5P, Spec 1, was a mess. They patched the game twice. Spec III was pretty good. That's what it's at now.
EviLore said:Holy fucking shit, every track has screen tearing, even the GT4 ports.

Don't know if I can even play the game again. Migraine already.
nice, i may make a home depot trip when i can afford a wheel.chuckddd said:It's a rock. Just finished the paint job last night, so I've only tested it in it's bare skin, but I'm guessing it'll stay the same.
I'm guessing it's about 40 bucks worth of pvc. And then about 30 bucks worth of paint and tape.
If they made clear pvc, I would've put some hamsters or mice or snakes or bears in there fo sho!
Some people notice it far less than others. Consider yourself lucky.iam220 said:Hm, haven't noticed a single screen tear in my 2 hours of play .... played time trial and race .. 1080p.

ugh......

I do enjoy the driving model with the g25 though. Very nice feel.

I see tearing EVERYWHERE is GT5. (at 1080p)
And yeah, cockpit view is ugly went it rains. Those wipers swing back and forth between 1080p and Atari 2600 when I'm behind a car.

With that said, I have a question. Where the hell do you turn off the damn line and assists? I'm probably missing something completely obvious, but I just can't seem to find the exact menu =/
That explains it... thanks!TTP said:The one before the race. It's not in the main game settings.
