Love this one! I really like how the lines in the road and in the guardrail seem to line up perfectly with certain parts of each car.

Going through this thread made me want to play again. Went and dug up some old photos. Enjoy:

And my attempt to copy some internal shots, lol.

I'd like to take some internal shots but I don't feel like going through all that trouble to get the camera inside the car

Red Bull hangar glitch is painful, yes. But there's the Lucerne and San Galgano Abbey trick where you just stay next to the car and zoooooooooooooooooooooom in until you enter the car lol
Much easier to do.

I just had to get a shot of one of his many intimate moments with the wall...

Considering how good the interiors are, but can only be seen using a glitch, I don't understand why there hasn't been a patch to let you take photo's of the interior. They look great!

Absolutely stunning pictures from Vally and Grover Cleveland. I saw someone the other day describe this game as having ropey graphics. Sure some of the low poly cars and tracks can look a bit naff. But when it is at its best, it looks stunning.

Thanks. Yeah, there are some times when the game doesn't look all that great but things like lighting, the detail of the premium cars, etc are incredible.

Even some of the standard cars can look pretty good in photos, too. I wish the developers weren't so ashamed of the standards and let you use them in Photo Travel mode. Or at least being able to photograph standard cars in the races without the 'oh sorry, this one's an ugly ass car so you must take the photo from a mile away'.

A few more shots:

So many beautiful shots especially those showcasing the extremely detailed interiors,i wish the gameplay looked like that

Are you implying that looks bad?

+ that's only 720p, and you can still see edges, probably due to downscaling, make it true 1080p with the same IQ and without the alpha resolution drop problem and it would definitely be acceptable. For me anyway.

And lets not forget, those are race mode models, not photo travel, GT PS4 (which won't be GT6 :p) will use those for sure.

Well considering GT6 will be on PS4 :p I agree with you. Like you said, true 1080p+4xAA (or more), photo travel models and maybe better track side textures (at least more consistency). The biggest problems are the track side textures and aliased shadows.

The thing is, those side textures, beyond the barriers, you don't see them (or barely do) from the pilots eye height. I never use chase cam so I never do notice those repeated textures.

I think he's trying to say ingame GT5 is almost as good as photomode already, next-gen GT would have to have a grid of 40+ if the graphics are like that to be an acceptable upgrade.

I agree. In fact I want more than 40. I really would like 50+ cars at once. But in order to do that PD needs a much bigger and more varied car list.

In general I do not need a huge graphical jump, it just needs to look cleaner and sharper. (pCARS with GT shaders and lighting).

20+ cars will be the most we see on track, and i'm not even sure that they'll do that. They may just stick to 16. Rendering a potential 40+ car pile up (at 60fps) with cars the quality that we see in GT would be asking a lot from any console.

I dont need 50 cars on track, 16 is enough. They should get Nascar and other American motosports out of GT and spend more time on polishing career mode, making premium cars and improving environmental appeal.

I agree, it'll be either 16 or 24. Honestly I'd be happy with 24 if the online netcode can handle it perfectly.

I do. Doing an endurace race with multiple classes of cars would be so so good.

I want to be able to take this picture in GT6 and you should to.

There are usually around 50 entries in Le Mans each year. That is why I picked 50.

People seem to forget how much this would open the career mode of the game. You would be constantly racing for position. Never bored, all alone on a big track. Qualifying would actually matter. Endurance races would have meaning and strategy. Also, anyone (me) who has done a 50 car+ race in GTR2 or rFactor will tell you it is an awesome experience.
