Way worse is the lack of tracks.
No Monza, no Imola, no Spa, no Montecarlo, no Bathurst, no Laguna Seca...and on and on it's the thing that right now is stopping me to buy the game.
Found that one thing that'll keep me coming back for years to come, and its not just the rewarding gameplay

I surely hope PD changes how SR is effected in certain situations. I hate taking a demerit because a jerk slides across the track and clips my rear quarter panel.

Both issues that can be resolved with updates, tbh.

I put my PS4 in rest mode so I still have access to the mission challenge races at Interlagos and Lake Maggiore after the server gets nuked. I still need to try it with my gimxed wheel.
Day 1 if F1 cars and championship creator are in the day 1 patch. Hasn't Verstappen been doing some stuff with Polyphony?

Impressed with the sound design this time. Cranked the volume and subwoofer up a bit on my Z-5500 and the game roars.
Do people think the Deluxe edition is worth it? Will those cars be obtainable in the game through normal progression or no

Absolutely, but i first want to be certain about their business model.
The polish and love that went into this game is phenomenal, there are a good number of cars and extra activities, but in the end,for me, it is about the tarmac, i need more tracks, real tracks, PD makes very awe inspiring circuits, but the engagement that a "real" circuit gives to me it's on another level.
So I'm here loving what I've played, but conscious that is not enough for now.

I think Im sold on the game after playing it for 3 days. The beta was pretty meh but the demo changed my mind. The game can be inconsistent in the visual department. It looks absolutely fenomenal at times and sometimes it looks like a ps3 game.
Couple of things I would like to see in the final game is the best lap times after a race. Customisable HUD, like switching off the track layout in bumpercam. Obviously the SR punishment system needs some work.
Also not a fan of the GT Vision cars.
I also didnt see a championship mode in the lobby system. Would be nice to have the possibility for short championships with 3-4 races or so.
Finally we need a top 3 podium finish after the race.

Not really but should be fun probably the first car I'm going to buy. CN cars especially at the lower end of the group are more like what if you took the most powerful motorbike engine put it on a frame as light as possible with a turning circle as tight as possible then throw on a cover to keep it down. No comfort, no extra weight, design only focused on keeping it planted to the road and getting as much power from the engine to the road. As they get more powerful and move away from the motorbike engines they become reminiscent of prototype cars. The 2&4 is more like the Arial Atom, BAC Mono and the Caterham CSR.
You have to wonder how PD keeps getting people and deals like this its pretty crazy.
Lol, that won't work. Once the servers go off you'll end up being notified the game is offline and everything gets locked.
Yeah, Lake Maggiore is fantastic. Looks awesome too.

I'd never buy the game as it is now and support Polyphony, but one can be persuaded to buy used if they give me what I want, like F1 cars, championship creator, TT2, etc.
I already tested by disabling the wifi, it still works, but once you back out to the main menu you're done for.

One can say that this could be the natural conclusion with the Ps4, when the Ps1 with GT was introducing sims in the mass market.
Can anyone verify if Tokyo Expressway is the same track featured in Wangan Midnight(aka the Shuto Expressway)?

I was in this camp initially too, but playing the fictional tracks available to us in the demo changed my outlook. It's not as if there's a gulf between the quality of the fictional and real-world circuits. The fictional tracks here are really good.

I just did an amazing scape picture with blurred Tokyo trucks and the NSX it was a symphony of light and the servers are over, now I can't even see it

The thing I never liked is is some of these cars have TC and you cant turn it off so if you do in game its not realistic to how the car handles. I wish on stock cars TC was default at factory.Not if you spin out
But yeah, if you can control the throttle out of corners with 0 traction control you can get higher exit speeds with 0 TC than with 1+.
