Easier than both. Still, very fun to play. Although currently 2B broke the balance of the game (she plays differently from everything in the game) and there is a lot of complaints by the community to nerf her to the ground. The game is mad fun.

Play the free edition, it has weekly rotation of characters with Gran always being available (essentially the Ryu of the series.)
If you like the mechanics after that buy the game. I find it fun, it's my go to anime fighter even over Melty Blood these days.
