Will it support Asian IPs as well?

I like that it's still being supported somewhat. I really like my PSP (in addition to my DS; imo, they complement each other very nicely).Amir0x said:Somehow this little system keeps on staying alive, a dim flickering light in a cruel, cruel world.

As much as I love having hard-copy UMDs, I'd like for some PSP games to be localized and put on PSN as digital downloads to be played on the Vita. Some of the games that have not been localized (yet?) are pretty good, imo (Last Ranker, some of the Tales games, Genso Suikoden I&II (but this is a collection of past titles), the remaining Legend of Heroes PSP games, etc).

One of my friends imported Over My Dead Body (the PS1 version) and thought it was pretty fun. I have to wonder if he's going to import the PSP version... the artstyle of the remake looks really nice.randomkid said:There are a lot of good PSP RPGs being left behind (check out this handy thread).
Grand Knights History was in my personal top 3, I still can't believe it's actually coming.
My other picks were Valkyria 3 and the Over My Dead Body remake (and the freaking FIVE remaining Kiseki games of course).
Also Atlus better announce Persona 2 Eternal Punishment PSP any day now, my guess is either that or a Kiseki game will be PSP's last notable Amurrican release.
they are working on something for vita. unsure what.Teknoman said:Speaking of UMDs...had Sony said anything about some sort of UMD transfer compatibility?
kiryogi said:Big heads up, GKH is seriously frontloaded for gameplay with Story taking a backseat. The emphasis is making awesome parties for the online war mode.
Here's an idea of how hardcore it can be:

kiryogi said:Good comparison But really, the first party you create is going to be throwaway. Do not get attached. And all you'll really need to do offline is clear the story mode once to unlock everything, and that's that.
But yeah, what it'll come down to will be what kind of builds you'll be making. He who controls the AC online will be the winner.

Does that mean you guys are actually working on it right now?wyrdwad said:We haven't announced anything officially because... well, there's nothing to announce! The game is like, a year or two out AT LEAST, so announcing anything now would be kind of pointless. Especially since, with the release THAT FAR AWAY, the constantly changing climate of the gaming industry, the impending decline of PSP game sales and the whole "can't put the game on PSN" thing, the future of Trails 2 is a total question mark right now (release on UMD? find a solution to the PSN issue somehow? release on Vita somehow? release on Steam?).
We still have every intention of seeing the project through to its completion, but will we still be ABLE to release it by the time it's done? That's what we don't know. All we can do is keep chipping away at it and hope for the best -- and if it turns out we can't do it, no one will be sadder than us. But it definitely won't be for lack of trying!
if i go back and buy all the games you guys localized will that be enough? :Owyrdwad said:"Based on... what? The last we heard about Trails 2 was quite a while ago, and they went from eagerly discussing their progress on the game to complete, deafening silence."
Clearly, you haven't been reading the right threads on the right message boards.

I'd sacrifice GKH for that in a heartbeat.
A year or two out? That's kind of obscene, honestly. I know the game has a lot of text, but there's no way something like that can be profitable at that point. And you'll have lost a lot of the interest generated by those who did play FC.wyrdwad said:"Based on... what?
