Gravity Daze 2 gets a trailer

So happy to wake up to this. Original was a fantastic, fun and unique experience. Dripping with charm. Workd was gorgeous although it did need some extra life in it. Hope we see more side quests and mini games just to make the world feel more alive.

OMG YES YES YES!

I sold my Vita in June, and now I'm regretting it. Gonna track down a Vita 1000 before this comes out or get a Vita TV if the quality of this game is good on a television screen. Man, I'm so excited about this. I adored Gravity Rush so so much. I am pleased with this news.

The city design looks like it's much better suited for Kat's gravity powers. Hopefully this turns out even better than the original.

Yes! Can't Wait! Loved the first one. My Game of the year in fact last year. Phenomenal soundtrack as well so I hope Tanaka returns for this one as well.

Also is this the first true sequel the Vita has had? By that I mean the same team making a second game for the system? Not counting sports games of course. This provides us with an interesting look at what the Vita is really capable of. Will it be like with other systems where the launch window titles are blown away by the year 2 or 3?

Always thought Gravity Rush was the closest to a Ghibli game besides Ninokuni...the world in the first one was so, so beautiful, filled with so many little details (I even made a thread about it). Then, sadly, they did absolutely nothing interesting in that world and the game just became a lackluster chain of boss battles.

I hope they can fix that here. Kat is one of the few Japanese game characters with a unique and authentic personality, and the art is once again incredible. Now make a real game out of it please.

Wow, looks nice. Sony, if you localize Over My Dead Body 2 along with this I'll buy a Vita, okay?

HOLY SHIT YES.

Mirror's Edge 2 and Gravity Rush 2 both announced this year... So great to see underrated games like this getting sequels!

Great news. Gravity Rush was a great game (with a disappointing ending, but still a great game) so I want more!

Whoo! Gravity Rush was the reason I bought a Vita, and is still the only true exclusive I own for it.

Haven't purchased any NA Vita games in a while, are they still doing physical releases of all major titles?

Seeing this game being made instills confidence in me that sony still cares about the vita.

I think this game will sell really well in the west. As part 1 is free on plus and has developed a really good word of mouth.

Also Native res or bust!

I absolutely loved this game; the music, the environments, the art style, the hidden stuff, the languages they made up; everything. Will be there on Day One for the sequel.

One thing I thought was under-used in the original was the lower halves of the cities. It felt like there could have been a lot more exploration and action down there but that they didn't want to pull players away from the high-flying gravity-manipulation core of the game. I would rather have seen them mix things up not by taking away Kat's powers, as they did for a brief period, but by having a claustrophobic indoor-like portion set in some of those lower levels. You only really go there to pick up gems, and even then you don't really do much down there.

Please tell me that "Fall Again" is a double entendre and that it's coming out in the Fall of 2013.

Awesome. As a new Vita owner just now discovering the joy that is Gravity Rush, thanks to PS+, I am looking forward to this sequel.

It needs to remain Vita exclusive.

Vita needs games man.

I have a Vita so I don't care if it's exclusive or not to play it, but I think this series needs a broader audience to get the commercial success it deserves and to become a big first party franchise.
Games like Gravity Rush won't help the Vita anyway because they aren't well known in first place, notwithstanding the high quality. If Sony wanted to 'save' the Vita they would need to money hat the biggest names in the industry like GTA, Red Dead Redemption, Elders Scrolls, Dragon Quest, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, Bioshock (oh..wait...they wanted that one :P).
They have already decided against it because Vita is more a side-project for them and they have acknowledged that in the current market dominated by smartphones and tablets, a product like Vita isn't going anywhere. Their current startegy is bound to mid tier japanese games, ports and indie titles...and considering the sales the thing is getting it's even a big achievement. Other companies would have let if die already.
I think that a PSVita/PS3 release or Gravity Rush would make the most sense, in the GAME'S interests, not Vita's.

Btw the teaser trailer looks great, best news out of TGS indeed.

Who cares as long as the series continues on and produce quality games. Not every franchise is supposed to be as big as uncharted. Persona is a perfect example of a small, niche, yet quality series.

It was shown in a Vita trailer section, and SCE released Vita sized wallpapers, so it's safe to say Vita only.

Thank fucking God. I was getting paranoid about this being multi-plat with PS3/4...

Those two systems already have enormous support that the Vita could never hope to have. Vita needs every exclusive it could get, especially one like GR.
