This needs to be on the first page.

Absolutely. The shock of this was palpable. Fucking awesome.

Unbelievable, I'd never seen this thread (i think!) and when I thought about it, Heat's last scene came to my mind. It's... poignant. Thread ended in OP, I guess!

The posts above with Predator and Blade Runner are making me wanna watch both again.

Read this thread from the start and was surprised how many people were getting angry that the end of Man of Steel had been spoiled, then I found the spoiler in question and the date...

'You want to be... fooled.'

Underrated final shot: The Graduate as they take turns looking unsure of the decision that was made, as "The Sound of Silence" plays.

Unsure of their futures, sure, but still utterly convinced they don't want to be like their parents. Or relatives. Or friends.

Course, the irony is...

one of my favourites. Dick Tracy isn't a masterpiece, it's rather mediocre, but the final shot is just fantastic

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Indy and his friends riding off into the sunset. It's a great ending in the vein of the classic adventure serials that inspired the trilogy. It's a goodbye for us, but we know Indy and co will still have plenty of adventures after the credits roll

Came to post this one.

No District 9?
No Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon?
No Fantastic Mr. Fix
No Moonrise Kingdom?
No Wreck-It-Ralph?
No Redline?
I am disappointed.

No one? Ok i'll post this

From the first movie, that first time we see neo fly past the screen, and then the rage against the machine track kicks in "WAAAAKE UPPPPP, WAAAAAAAKKKKE UUUPPPPP",

oh man wish i had seen that in the cinema, my regret is getting it VHS for the chrstmas that year, without seeing it in the cinema first, good choice for a film i never saw i took a risk, but i should've gone to the cinema to watch it

Yeah, I saw it on DvD two years after it came out in theaters. I was so wrapped up in The Phantom Menace, I didn't even care about the Matrix.

And then I realized I made a terrible mistake.....
