I'm not stirring it up, just look up at the top of the last page and people were spreading crap that only a few hundred cars would have cockpits. I was just trying to say how retarded it is that they were suggesting that PD would even think of doing that. To me it seems the car passes over the shadow that's circled without the shadow being cast onto the car.

re-watch the video, there is a shadow, its a shallow 1 but its there, you probably missed it because the video quality is poo

I even have GTPSP and that song is in that game. But it doesn't sound a half as good as it does in that video. I don't know if it's because they slightly remixed it and upped the bass. Or if it simply because the visuals are so stunning it makes the music more awesome than it otherwise would be.

It's a bug for that specific spot apparently. Even on the Nur GP track vids there are plenty of shadows being cast on the car models when they pass underneath signs and archways.

By track day I mean a free race, where everyone can join at any time but it isn't an actual race. It's just laps in ghosted cars (no competition) to deter the smash em up types from joining. No set lap limit, no car limit or anything just driving and talking with others.
PD should dedicate server space to this so they are open 24hrs a day or racers can set up their own private rooms and have a track day with friends.

Brilliant way to just play around, voice chat and give each other advice. No race pressure or time/lap limit.

Also, great advertising on the LeMans cars as those should be near the front of the field the entire race (assuming nothing happens mechanically or that they don't crash :lol )

At the end of the day, the winner gets the money in his inbox and a mini ribbon to add to his garage. After so many ribbons, a trophy/banner for the wall or a new piece of racing suit. Same with clan wide challenges. Or ribbons/trophies if you are top time worldwide for a challenge.
It would help ensure this game never dies. And rather than award cars or kit pieces that can make a difference in racing (and cause bitching), just make it cosmetic for your car or driver or garage (I hope we get to have a Home-like garage in which we can display our favorite cars and trophies for SP and MP triumphs and have friends over).
