Nah, they will make sure to release it just before next gen. That way they can charge you for the privilege of having a PS6 version. And then the PC version. And then the Enhanced version a number of years later.

lmao yup I'm thinking they learned that both PS6 and Xbox-PC-thing was targeted for 2027 now, so could move it forward and further maximize current gen sales. Next, I'm guessing PC first, Epic, using a potential double dip trap for another 6 months later on Steam, they'll wait until userbase is bigger on next gen and for console gamers to be ready for another playthrough, hype higher framerates or resolution, guessing 1 year later, eventually it'll pop up on Switch 2.
