First, the announcement for Guesspionage:

The Jackbox Party Pack 3 is coming this fall and, like The Jackbox Party Packs before it, this version will consist of five party games in one lovingly crafted box… er… digital download.

We’ve already announced that Drawful 2 won’t be one of the five games, so the whole pack is pretty wide open. Well, today we are doing something about that and announcing that Guesspionage will be one of the games in The Jackbox Party Pack 3!

What is Guesspionage? Let’s see. There’s a “Guess” and an “Espionage.” That’s a good clue. Or is it “pionage?” Hmm. What’s “pionage?” No, it’s “espionage.”

We’ll explain how the game works soon. I’m looking at one of the artist’s computer screens and it looks like there may be a dolphin involved.

So that was actually announced last week, but it was too vague to have it's own thread. Luckily, yesterday during their Twitch stream, Jackbox announced Game #2 for PP3, Quiplash 2!

Sequels, amirite? Video games are full of ’em. Uncharted 4, Witcher 3, DOOM (little known sequel to DOOM). Don’t game developers have any new ideas?!

Except all those games are great! Therefore, sequels must be great! Which is why we’re excited to announce Quiplash 2 (technically the third Quiplash) as the second game in this fall’s Jackbox Party Pack 3 (definitely the third Jackbox Party Pack)!

Like any good sequel, Quiplash 2 will win your heart with a bunch of fun new twists on a classic formula. New features! New final rounds! And of course, all new prompts! Plus, you can finally prove you’re funnier than our writers by making and sharing your own custom games!

So that’s Guesspionage, Quiplash 2, and three as yet unnanounced mystery games coming to Party Pack 3. Those three aren’t sequels to anything. But they’re still pretty good.

I love playing Quiplash with friends, so the fact it's getting a sequel is pretty cool. I'm interested in seeing what the new final round will be like, as The Last Lash was kinda the worst thing about the original. And the custom game feature is the cherry on top of this awesomeness. So 2 down, 3 to go. Gonna be fun to see what they announce next, especially now that it's known that they won't be sequels to previous entries.

Nice, just picked up the original the other week having never heard of it before and it's great fun. But with so many games it's a shame they can't make it dlc for existing owners to keep expanding the game rather than having to load up different games for different err games.
