All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
Completely forgot this came out today. Does anyone know if they fixed the bugs from the PS2 version?
 
It did?

I just left work a few hours ago and the only Wii game we got today was Alien Syndrome.

Interested in the bug fixes myself, if it came out today, doubtful that every PS2 bug will be fan checked. Not yet.

Wonder how the silly waggle controls are.
 
It just occured to me how boring the Japanese flag really is. It's just a freaking giant red dot. That's how the Japanese have chosen to represent themselves. A ****ing DOT.

Yeah, it really gets in the way when playing Accent Core on the Wii, just before every Overdrive it flashes.

Any reviews or hands on impressions of this games, even from preview builds?

They said they would fix the bugs in the PS2 and Wii version for the NA release. I don't know about the Japanese Wii version, but it would make sense if they would have at least fixed some of them.

Well, **** just about everyone in this thread.

Thanks to YOU GUYS, I had to go and buy the game for myself. So we'll see if there's any glitches or not. Plus now I can try the dumb Wiimote set-up!!!!!!!1111111

If you look closely, you can see me almost getting arrested for setting off fireworks near the river!

(The existence of a dotonboori is really hot, I`ll have to look into it)

Btw, speaking of phones: Sorry about missing you during hanami. You going to be in Kansai again soon? Wouldn`t mind getting together for some shochu and GGXX.
 
No puranzu at the moment, but we definitely should hang out!

So far, it looks like GG AC is a nice port. I have to admit I'm a bit spoiled by GG on PS2, since I'm used to playing it upscaled to 720p (and it looks nice!), but it looks great on Wii and the classic controller works pretty damn well for me.

I think I'm going to have to do a back and forth comparison, but the sound quality on the Wii version sounds better to me. The voices don't sound muffled, for once!

Yeah, I really do think the sound quality is better on the Wii version. Even the sound effects sound much crisper overall. I'd really like to hear if anyone else agrees, so I'll know if I'm not crazy!

Visually, it looks a bit brighter, too, but is possibly missing some color(?) Kind of hard to tell. Here's a crappy cel phone pic...there's a bit of overscan on my TV, too. I only seem to have this issue with a few Wii games.

Hah! I just realized I don`t have a JP wii. The only console this gen that`s american. Guess I`m NOT getting it.

Is there another AC port coming? 360 or PS3 perhaps??

Are you sure your tv's settings arent just different for each systems input? Like your video2 might have more treble than your video3 or something?

Nope, it's just certain Wii games, not the Wii itself. This and Biohazard 4 are the two games that are the most noticeable. None of the other systems I have hooked up (PS2, PS3, 360) have this issue.

The arcade close to me actually does not have any Guilty Gear games. O_o I didn't think that was possible given its popularity, but then they also got rid of NGBC, KOF XI, SS Tenka, Hokuto No Ken, etc. They kept games like Chou DBZ and Kinnikuman though...I don't get it. They do have Battle Fantasia, which is fun in small doses. Damn that final boss tho

Hell I'm getting this version, even though I don't have an arcade stick. My PS2 is dead and since I'm not replacing it I guess....oh well.

:lol Well, it's just that one game center...other arcades have the game. But I usually go there because it's within walking distance and is open 24 hours a day.

Yes, of course! I couldn't imagine playing it any other way (that joystick isn't out yet, right?).
It's very responsive and feels great.

At least they redid the rest of the art. I do have some issues with some of the new backgrounds; they look a bit too empty and/or lifeless, but it's still a welcome change nonetheless.

BTW, I don't know if you checked the July Pick-Up Purchase thread again, but I posted impressions on Ikkitousen....AKA worst game of 2007!
 
I didn't even know about this game. 2D fighter? 480p? 16:9? classic controller support?
