I will buy GHWT drums if I can get them separately

Hope the GHIV guitar is a bit more durable than the GH3 one, had to fix/replace mine about 4 times and now it screws up every few weeks. I have actually been using my GH2 guitar for some time now.

At Best Buy, employees actually have to follow a two-week moratorium on purchasing the full band bundle just so we can try and fill pre-orders over that period. The Wii version especially got dinged pretty bad with our initial shipment quantities. If I were you guys, I would definitely try and pay your band bundles off ASAP and try to attend midnight openings if you can get to them. Also, I can definitely confirm no separate instruments will be available for sale at launch, with no ETA planned (likely will end up being sold some time in the spring)....but there will be extra drumsticks and guitar decorations!
Cosplay's bad enough, but you want trannies to do it too?!Tiduz said:i wish it had crossplay, im on ps3

Seconded. Man that was a great song, totally deserved to be in the main setlist.TheGreatDave said:Cool. Hope the song is as awesome as Impulse.

kottila said:Anyone know whats's up with Wii and DLC? Everytime I see a pressrelease, it only seems to mention 360 and PS3..
Belgand said:It will have DLC. There's a system in place to be able to put songs on SD cards and then load them into memory and such. It's all very... well, it's because Nintendo really needs to get on the ball. I love Nintendo, but they've been dropping the ball in recent years when it comes to new technologies like storage space and Internet access. The only thing they seem to get is that vague waggling and a crapflood of terrible games (the DS too is almost completely overrun with shite) is apparently making them a ton of money.

VOOK said:Yeah all the shit third party games on the Wii is Nintendo's fault.
kottila said:WTF? I wanted to know if someone knew something specific about the Wii DLC (same songs/release schemes as the other two consoles or not), not a rant about waggle and Nintendo.
Belgand said:Hell no. Microsoft cannot go out of business fast enough for my tastes... and I actually own (a completely trivial amount of) stock in them!

This isnt' a troll, I haven't been keeping up on DLC news. I don't think I can afford two games with weekly DLC

The drums are great. The cymbals add a lot.megashock5 said:So, anyone who's played a preview (or Rock Band for that matter)...
How much fun are the drums? I used to play drums in a couple of bands in the late 80's-early 90's, so I'm naturally drawn to them. But there's quite a price difference from the guitar bundle to the full band set.
Anyone who's played a real kit have an opinion on the fun factor on the GH/RB kit?
