Yeah I suppose you're right. Maybe we can discuss generic things in here every once in a while to keep it on the first page.
 
I just attacked a guy from LUElinks named Shoren.

Here is the message on his profile: "It's not that I'm not humored by your attempts, but you won't get by my vault. Please save your clean IP's and attack someone else."



I nailed this guy for 200,000 credits. You just can't trust these people with the "I have the highest level vault, no money herez lol" messages.

damn I missed a lot of drama at work :lol

also got attacked twice. one guy jacked 76k credits, ouch. the other 30k. i attacked them both and they must have high level vaults or spent it already. got 0 from them. some of whatCD crew have been attacking me too.
 
I'm number 1 in the clan. As far as how, it was just right time, right place. Sam1123 said he was quitting in Global chat and I hit him first for 10m then 5m. Nothing special, infact it was cheap.

Just got to 3rd place in Guild..

Upgraded Virus to level 7. And suddenly I was upped by alot, and I don't even have loads of Kbps and MHz.
 
God damn I just started playing and right off the bat accidentally attacked the 1st ranked and 2nd ranked people. :lol

Had a couple of hits last night again, nothing major, small change now really. Upgraded my virus again after pulling a few nice attacks this morning.
 
Have you tried typing "Bypass Proxy" into google? There's a ton of sites and programs that work. I used to use a program to play World Of Warcraft during lectures at my school.

Some people are sorely not investing in virus upgrades...

Upgrade your virus people and vaults.

Oh and Falagard is down twice in the list...

Yeah tried that, unfortunatly our proxy is pretty good and blocks every site I have tried, only reason I can get to GAF is that it has been unblocked due to alot of the engineers in lurk here.

For example I can't even browse virgin wines, it blocks it under Hate/Violence.

Basically from what I have gathered...

Build up your initial offense and defense so that you can atleast raid past a few pages.

After that just try and upgrade your vault and virus up to a point where you feel you have hit that plateau in terms of profit and where you're not really getting a return from attacks which can further your system....in which case go upgrade your computers and internet connections as it probably time to move up in the world a little further.

Virus upgrades btw do increase your ranks not sure about vault upgrades.

My only recommendation for picking targets is...hitting people that have unequal computers to internet connection ratio's...high internet connection rank shows that the person is a very aggressive thus like raiding and is probably very active and if so a high chance they are not spending credits. Also those with high computer ranked people these people probably can't log in often and thus are ripe for attacks.
 
Sweet, thanks for the tips, really appreciate it. I shall survey a few targets before picking which one to attack from now on. I shall also just focus on building up my defense and offense for the mean while.
 
Just woke up. Used my 5 clean ips and made about 300k. Not bad, managed to upgrade my virus to level 7, but I sold a nice chunk of kbps to do so >.<

I got level 14 vault and 5 virus...

I find if I keep my vault level high it takes anything from 5-7 hours to fill up. Which allows me to sleep in comfort knowing ain't no one going to steal anything from me in my sleep...:D those you have tried have only killed machines and taken chump change.

btw I found a WhatCD farm this morning it's in the top 500 but it's mhz and it's kbps were in the 800's...so I thought it was strange and must have some seriously high virus and vaults because I took 200k which was only 5%...:D

I have been pretty good at keeping them from getting money from me. Had only 3 attacks with only 2 getting under <3k in the first 5 total attacks. The rest are zilch.

edit: I went with upgraded virus, level 3 now!

Up to you really, it depends if your able to spend the credits you get when you get them. If you can, virus (also get a rank boost). If not Mhz (smaller rank boost).

Either way it all evens out in the end
