I played the demo and loved the retro nostalgic art style. Not sure the power ups and gameplay are anything new but it's a cool game. Downloaded it already and will work in some runs soon.

I've maxed out the fast fingers and attack speed, That seems to be the best starting attributes. Got 3 characters unlocked so far.
I had Outer Worlds 2 up and just got into the open world, made dinner then finished the night playing nothing but HaLLS of Torment. Another one of those simple but addicting games..

Awesome. Maybe I forgot or missed the news, but didnt know HoT was coming to GP. Its a cheap game to begin with, but I had it on my radar to buy on Xbox or Steam. lol

the game lets you redo what you spent any time and it costs nothing. So It was easy to experiment.
During gameplay there are tons of upgrades that seem to do the same thing. Some upgrade the passives, and some your main character, I don't know what many of them do. Aura? What is that? I found one upgrade that put a circle of light around the character, it was upgradable but I couldn't tell if it was doing anything.
