Its an E-mail comfirmed by a Gamestop 'Mole' so you decide. I was kind of expecting a big delay for HAlo 3. If its going to be as good as its expected to be, it almost HAS to be set-back.

Outside of the launch games, Microsoft seems to always give at least a year to build up hype over its 1st party games.

I don't think a "rush job" has as much to do with it as design decisions (like getting rid of the flashlight meter and jump damage).

Good. The later Halo 3 comes out, the better. I got the feeling with the original Xbox that many great games were overlooked because of dumbasses who latched on to Halo or Halo 2 and ONLY played those games 90% of the time. Maybe this time superior Xbox 360 games and superior multiplayer FPSes (like Unreal Tournament) won't be unfairly overlooked by lots of gamers.

This is why they I think they moved TP to the revolution. We'll probably get both Mario and Zelda rev this year. TP might net them a profit on GCN but it won't do anything besides that. Nintendo needs rev to surpass their previous consoles. This is it for them. It'd be a waste on GCN. I bet they've been working on the rev version for a long time and are just stalling with these delays. Nintendo has to sell as many revs as possible very fast or they won't get any dev support; it'd be too late for rev to succeed a year or two into next-gen. It has to make a splash at the first 3-4 months. Also by late 2007 the graphics gap between rev and PS3/360 will be even bigger too.
