Ghal are you working on the official thread for Reach?
Looking forward to not having a new Halo thread pop up each week... I can understand (sort of) why GAF requested that we do it this way, but I personally think it divides the discussion to much.

You still have Boardwalk/Countdown and one more to go, no? I'm thinking most of the 4v4 maps are coming from ForgeWorld via remakes, so I could see 2 of those left being BTB.

I thought Invasion maps could be used for other gametypes (We saw Race being played on Boneyard before) so wouldn't that be your big 8v8 maps?

Yes, I saw that once, too. But I'm speaking directly about MM and what process we'll see in terms of maps and playlists. I would love for Invasion maps to be settled in Big Team; BTB will be all about CTF, Assault, and Slayer.

From the little I know about how this all works...Dani said:

Modders can get this information easily and then using a modded box get the data onto their GT. (I apologize for the terrible explanation here...)
So what he has done is make it look like he has played it and unlocked all achievements at the same time.
I highly doubt the actual game has been leaked yet (though I am sure that's coming soon enough). For now this is just likely a legit Achievement list leaked (though Bungie already gave that info out).
edit: two things stick out to me that help confirm it's 'fake'.
1) He doesn't ever launch the game
2) he has all the achievements, including the ones that require MM....

The Xbox dashboard looks legit but with modded content, I am unsure whether to believe he actually has a copy of Reach or not as he hasn't leaked anything from the game itself.
This however should serve as a warning. Major leaks will be incoming at any time now - there will always be a race to get the most leaks out first, as this video demonstrates.
I don't want people having their preferred spoiler policy ruined or having their experience ruined before the game comes out. If the video did contain real leaks I wouldn't have linked to it.

I told myself I was going to do a complete blackout on new campaign stuff, but I can't help myself. I really wish I had encountered some of those things in the previews as a surprise the first time I played through Reach, but oh well. Sounds glorious. Now please do me a favor Bungie and don't release any more new campaign info after this, I don't have the willpower to stop myself. :lol
I think he's saying that there was night vision on the sniper rifle in Halo 1, and that wasn't an overly dark game. I wouldn't worry about it, unlike ODST I highly doubt the majority of Reach will take place in complete darkness.

I'm really starting to wonder what the first mission of the game is going to be like. In these campaign previews they did not get to play the first mission. In the achievement list that Bungie has released there are only 49/50 achievements shown, and the first campaign completion achievement is Complete the second level
