The most strange thing is that they haven't even announced what the amiibo connection will be between TP:HD and Zelda U, even when TP:HD has been released.
We saw basically nothing. They'll re-reveal it on the NX, it's obvious at this point, but hopefully it won't take more than a month. I'm tired of waiting.
I keep reading this everywhere and i'm still trying to understand why it would matter. The game is still coming out on Wii U, people who own one and don't want NX at launch (or at all) can still buy it. So, who cares?
Assuming that it's out this Fall, we'll get a more thorough preview of the game around E3.
Nintendo always announces Zelda games too early. It doesn't get people to buy their current system in great numbers, so I am not sure why they don't just hold off until the game is closer to release.
Because when they announce it, it's because they estimate it will release soon. No one expects or can predict a delay if everything is going according to plan. Problem is, plans change. In this case, the move to NX. Which is great because it gives them more time to add more dungeons, sidequests and details.

I think I've honestly seen enough to buy the game on day 1. If they suddenly released it today with no more promotion or footage, I'd drop everything to go to the store to buy it.
Everything we've seen so far all feels like experimental phase. That big open world video with Miyamoto and Aonuma felt very empty, like they were mocking out a world map, but without any story really built around it and with little to really suggest playing the final game will be like that.
Think about the early TP footage with the "Blades will Bleed' trailer and what not, prior to Midna and the Twilight Princess branding. I feel like everything we've seen so far is to Zelda U what that footage was to TP.
I would like at least one trailer that represents the structure of the final game.

I was just making an observation, not really criticizing. But when you think about it, every single Nintendo console has had its own Zelda game, except for the Wii U.
I think it does tell some things about Nintendo's game development struggles when it comes to the Wii U, which took at least half of the generation to break that barrier.
It doesn't help that in the middle of it all Iwata passed away.
Nintendo is restructuring, no, rebuilding itself from the inside, so I can only hope the NX will take off in a good way.

But it will have its own original Zelda, because the game is still coming to the WiiU. To take it one step further, it's the NX that won't have an original Zelda because the one it's going to get is a port of the WiiU version.
I think you are the one overreacting. Being a fanboy isn't a negative thing other than you aren't representative of the average fan of a series. I am a Bond fanboy so I enjoyed Spectre, but the movie wasn't received that well.
Taking it personally? I really don't understand where you are coming from...
