Nah but came pretty damn close several times I'd say.
Super Metroid.
But Metroid Prime is a VERY close second place.
I hesitate to call anything perfect, but Super Smash Bros. Melee always struck me as an example of a game that's pretty much as good as it gets. I can't really think of anything that I'd change.
Contra for NES is the perfect game.
Story you can get behind. 2 badass main characters. Great graphics. Great music. Tight controls. Varied environments. Great bosses. Varied weapons. Difficult for first-timers. Fun co-op. Perfect length. Quick load times. Did I mention great music?
Objectively? No. Subjectively?
This one. This one right here. Never had any complaints about it at all, never will.
Easy.
Shame everything went downhill after they removed the party system.
No and neither has anyone else
Yes. It's called Tetris.
No such thing.
Unless Ubisoft is making it.The more complicated games get, the harder it is for them to be absolutely perfect. Tetris is perfect though.
Surprised no one has mentioned Journey yet. While I don't think any game is 'perfect' I felt the experience as a single one off 2-3 hour play through was close to a perfect gaming experience.
You'd be right if we were talking about it in a literal sense. Theres nothing perfect in the world, but in my eyes and experience I believe MGS 1 and OOT are my perfect games.
I mean literally perfect (having no mistakes or flaws).
....
And once again, I mean LITERALLY perfect.
The OT sure sounds like he means it literally:
What rotation system? Because I think some are pretty flawed.Yes. It's called Tetris.
Mass Effect
Red Dead Redemption
BioShock
Dishonoured
Halo 3
Grand Theft Auto 5
Are all pretty much damn near perfect!
Literally- used for emphasis or to express strong feeling while not being literally true.
"I have received literally thousands of letters"
In fact, Metroid Prime is the only perfect thing I have ever seen in my whole life. It got me questioning that popular saying "nothing is perfect".
