I hope some of these apps are standard for all new consoles. MLB, hell, I would buy a NFL app for $100. Considering I get 150 + games for my home team for $120.
NFL is on PS3.

Ok, so any word on when the Xfinity app is going up?
Try searching for it. I found it when I searched for "Xfinity".
And screw the HBO Go app for not having Comcast. Xfinity app does not have the movie my BF wants to watch but HBO Go does.
I also like how you can't use AirPlay to transmit an iPad's HBO Go signal to your television even though almost everything else works fine.So wait a fucking minute, I can't use the HBO GO app on '360 with my Comcast/Xfinity login credentials?!
BUT I can access it on my iOS devices?!
What the fuck is this horse shit?!
I wonder what Time Warner's problem with HBOgo is. I know comcast's is that they want to pimp their own apps, does Time Warner have something similar coming out?
I'm not sure how this works.
I have HBO through Charter Cable. How do I get the HBO Go to know I have an HBO subscription? Do I enter a phone number or something?
It's on the list. With Comcast/Xfinity, you enter your email account information in. Not sure how Charter works if it's just cable.
Does HBO Go even support Charter in the 360 app? You should figure that out first.
It's on the list.
Is it possible that let's say, my sister in Texas has HBO and her provider is on the approved list, can I use her info for me to use on my 360 in California?
It totally does. For most providers, anyway.HBOgo doesn't work on Roku
You need cable to use HBO Go.Sweet. Thanks. I am moving in a few weeks and don't plan on getting cable. This will help.
Even if I plan to piggy back off of someone elses HBO subscription? You need cable to use HBO Go.

That will work! SOMEONE needs cable is what I should have said.Even if I plan to piggy back off of someone elses HBO subscription?

Providers are assholes. Kicking and screaming their way into the 21st century.

I think Comcast only allows access to HBOGO on iOS devices, Android phones and PC. Pretty much anything that can be hooked up to your TV to use HBOGO they don't allow..
Comcast: "Hur hur. Nobody would ever think of hooking their PC up to their HDTV!"
Thats bullshit...I wanted the HBO app so I could re watch The Wire and The Sopranos..Yeah, it's awful!

Bought my brother a Roku for Christmas and found out the hard way about it.
Didn't think they restricted it per device since I always used it on my PC.
which hardly anyone does.

It's how I watch it, I have a HTPC![]()
My monitor blew, so instead of buying a new one, I'm using my 40" LCD as a display. I'm not sure I'll be able to go back after playing Witcher 2 on it at 1080p.![]()

nope..So wait...since i have Comcast and I pay for HBO i cant watch HBOgo through my 360?
But you can only be logged in on one device at a time...so if you log in one place, it logs you out everywhere else. They aren't authenticating on your broadband provider like ESPN does...otherwise with Time Warner i would be blocked altogether.
I pray for the day when HBO is completely independent of "old media" and will become a paid subscription service like Netflix.
Is it tied to the login or when somebody starts the stream? I was going to piggy back on my brothers hbo account (and pay him a couple bucks for his trouble) but he also has an xbox that he was going to start using for this. Does it atleast say the hbo app is in use and make you click to log the other person off or does it just automatically kick them off? I'm curious how that would work. As long as we would be notified it would be fine.... I'm just worried about it if it automatically does it we might be stepping on each others toes when trying to use hbo.
