So I have to talk about this because it was probably one of the best things to happen.

I was playing a paladin, fighting a mage. They had a Leper Gnome on the board. I played a Knife Juggler along with the Defender secret.

The mage attacks the Knife Juggler which triggers the secret. I wasn't even thinking about it but that triggered the Juggler's effect and it threw a knife at the gnome, killing it before it could deal any damage.

It was great because it was completely unexpected. Going to have to try to have that happen again.

They're going to add some sort of reward for ladder ranking right? Leveling back to masters every week for nothing will get boring fast.

So after playing the beta the past 2 days, Im having massive latency problems. I got through the tutorial with no problems but i can only get through about the 6th turn of any practice or online game before I cant take any actions because the game just sits there after I lay a card or try an attack.

Anyone running into this issue?

I still don't get why they're resetting so often. Starcraft only gets reset when a major balance patch comes along, and here they're talking about doing it weekly. That's gonna drive me nuts.

Hearthstone giveaway must've utterly destroyed something on PCGamesN's end. They started working on that first giveaway early today and still haven't managed to put it out. And they are going to open up the giveaway to more entries...lol, I think I'd leave it as is and go with it after all this trouble.

If anyone runs into this problem: unplug your router/modem for a couple minutes then replug.

Game works fine now.

Getting tired of waiting for this to go open, if they aren't doing anymore wipes, they really need to get this out to people already.

The Hype train is dying off everyday for me, I have a huge enough backlog on steam to keep focused on a game they wont even let me play >.>

I'm 2-0 after running out of cards. Once because I played my hands perfectly and they ended up running out of cards one turn sooner than me and the other time because I had about 4 heal cards in my hand as a druid so I was able to heal the penalty a couple turns.

Hang in there, I'm sure we'll be hearing something at Blizzcon in early November.

That is somewhat of a huge disadvantage to create in my opinion.
Giving a month+ to people playing right now, for them to build their decks and knowledge of the game, over those starting that amount later would create too large of an imbalance.

But isn't this always going to be the case? Sure it's practically forced right now, but that same gap will exist once it's fully released when you look at people that play right at launch, and those that join in months or years down the road.

There is a difference. Since those that join much later after launch had the opportunity to join earlier. This other difference is created due to people beeing locked out of the game.

Is there any point bothering with PCGamesn if you haven't already made a post?

Haven't there been thousands of comments and only 1600 keys to go out?

Come on, that's the case in basically every PvP game. The precentage of people with this advantage compared to the amount of people who will start at the official date will be so minimal. You will find enough people who started on equal grounds.

Yeah at least in normal betas there's a wipe when they open to public and beta testers just get some small bonus + huge advantage of knowledge.

Only 8600 comments with many doubles and they are distributing now 600, so there at least 8% to get in. Its not small chance :) And with all 1600, the chance is over 20% if there wont be mass influx of comments today and tomorrow.
