I got this from reddit and it worked to get em a key:

I installed the addon in chrome.

Closed all open Pc Gamer windows, and opened one up for the giveaway page.

Did what he said to do in the add on; press accept at the bottom of the addon and then reloaded the page.

After reloading the page the get your beta key button appeared. First 2 times I pressed it, the disclaimer came up. On the third time it showed the key as well.

If the beta button fails to appear you need to reload the page and do the thing with the cookies again.

The only bug I noticed while watching streams is that when you start a game and they announce the two hero names like for example "Jaina Vs Rexxar" the second name's volume is always super low. That's obviously a super minor issue of course.

Yeah; they really should do the valve method of betas, letting you buy early access. Look they are already charging money inside the game. Therefore they must believe that the game is at an acceptable status.

I've had cards get stuck on the screen. Game locks ups during a match causing a loss. Crash on exit. Sound can get stuck.

There are still lots of bugs.

yeah my game almost always crashes when I exit - nothing bad happens but still stuff to be ironed out. Chat bugs are the worst though.

I honestly don't even think I will ever be able to play this game before it goes in open beta.

This morning I even got an email from Blizzard, and it was about WoW...

I was lucky/quick enough to do the cookie trick yesterday and managed to get a key (so at least 1 out of the 350 didn't go to eBay!) Doesn't help anyone without a key but hopefully they announce an open beta asap, or at least increase their opt-in invites.

So far the game is exactly as good as I was hoping it'd be. The different classes really play different and you have expectations when you go against any class. Just played against a priest who turned his tiny little creature into a 14/17 beast in one round. Needless to say, he took a big risk as I'm a warrior with executes. That RPS preview pretty much tells everything I have to say about the game so far, the fact that matches are quick is a huge plus compared to most card games. Longevity remains a question, obviously.

Just played my first arena, which is free the first time. Felt like I drafted a pretty good early aggro warlock deck:

Went 7-3 with it and I could have probably went 9-1 if I would have avoided some pretty obvious mistakes. Hogger saved me once pretty badly though. My first 3 games were up against some really bad players, but at 5-6 wins I started to get matched up against some decent ones. Those who have the beta, are you mostly playing arena or the other game modes?

Yeah, while I would give one to one of my friends first, I would definitely give away the rest to GAF. Not that I'll be getting more than one, if I even get one before open beta heh.

I definitely won't be selling them though. That idea just doesn't sit right with me.

Blizzard being Blizzard. They also conveniently launched said closed beta on FFXIV's release. Gotta get those twitch viewers.

I could pick warrior, hunter or warlock. I don't really like warrior and I had played more warlock than hunter, so I picked warlock.

Edit: Oh, you probably meant the other legendary choices, my bad. It were some pretty bad legendarys probably, since I can't remember them. I didn't think about the pick that much since I didn't think the other ones were good. I think it might have been king mukla and lorewalker cho.

Those who have the beta, are you mostly playing arena or the other game modes?

Almost exclusively arena:

Wish they would track loss stats as well... Since I started tracking my runs, I average around 6-7 wins per run, but my first couple of runs weren't as great. I actually paid the money-entry fee 6 times before it started being sustainable to do 2-3 arenas most days on the wins+dailies alone
