Goddamn, those arenas in the horde mode are insane! Did a Helldive-difficulty one and it was like Long Tan up in there.

I saw that post. My question was if you get separate codes for the vita and ps3 versions or if there is one code included with the disc that ties the ps3 and vita games to your account.
I was hoping to buy the physical version and keep the vita code for myself and give my friend the ps3 code so I could play with him.

Quick question since seeing this thread reminded me, is this game working now? For months it would be a struggle to play online with friends, we loved the game but gave up.

I wouldn't have thought so, as it's a cross-buy game. You buy it once, you get it across all three platforms. Giving three different digital codes would allow for abuse, and seeing as the system is already set-up to circumvent that, I don't see why they would.
Really? man we've died so many times cause of getting stuck specially with the nukes.
Dying is half the fun.
Oh I agree, though with the nukes it's pretty much 100% death if we don't completely discuss everything before setting it off.
Still recall our first Dive, "hey, this was fun, yey, we've made it, shuttle is incoming" My friend goes *splat*. I was laughing so hard I almost missed the shuttle.

Pro strategy: launch a nuke, prime a reinforcements beacon. You drop the beacon upon death reviving everyone including you.

Secret: if one guy always has a reinforcement beacon primed the team can never die. All 4 always come back. Good strategy when waiting for extraction.

Does this game have couch coop? Really liked what I saw on the PS4 but I don't have one. Since its coming on PC it might be something cool to play with my Dad.

It has couch play on PS3 and PS4, which should mean it also has it on PC, but hopefully we'll get confirmation on that.
We also need information on cross save and cross play PC <-> Playstation.

Let me see if I can answer the most common questions:
- Progression and DLC are unfortunately not transferable from PS to PC
- While you are unable to play directly with your comrades on PS, both PC and PS players all contribute to the same Galactic Campaign.
- There is local coop, online coop, single player, multiplayer! When playing local coop, other users will appear as guests. They will not be able to use their own Steam accounts.

Thanks ! Awesome news. We bought the game on PSN and played a bit with a friend, we had a blast, but haven't really followed with the DLCs and all. Will the PC version contain all major DLCs from the start ?

Just logged off, but my game was full less than 10 minutes after I dropped the distress beacon.
Damn, that's a good price. I'm tempted to double dip just so I can have the disc.
Nah. You do gather resources to upgrade weapons and equipment, but there isn't any loot or randomized weapons to find. Think of Starcraft as a 4 player co-op twin stick shooter.

Can this game be played solo campaign? Won't be able to play much online, so wouldn't be of much use if it is anything like Destiny.

I'm not sure how it works exactly, but the codes are only for PS3 and Vita since the DLC comes on the disc already, so there is no need for a code. Sorry, I know that didn't explain much!
Been playing it since yesterday on PC. This shit is so damn good. Just the amount of options there are for loadouts and teamplay are awesome. I'd imagine there's a best in slot type of boring meta at the highest difficulty though, not excited to see that. Game gets super tense in higher difficulty missions. Playing tactically with friends on mics is great

The game is amazing, but I had to play with the Xbox One controller. I don't care for the m/kb controls on this since you won't turn where the mouse goes unless you aim. I hate that.
You can play on easier levels (1-5) by yourself fine, but on higher difficulties, you need to play with others to beat the levels. However, if you buy the Guard Dog DLC (i forget what pack it comes with), it's much more bearable.
