I honestly think this was a genuine Hello Games tweet, because I can't see it

Who is actually calling for hello games blood beyond thinking they and their game sucks?

Some noted it was a tweet made via LinkedIn, which is a bit of a work-around for no good reason, if this somehow wasn't a hack.
And seriously, a person in such dire straits as implied here would not use a meme sentence.
People have been completing about it for months. It's a game that apparently turned out mediocre, like thousands of others. Get over it.I'm glad you like to being lied and scammed at your face, but I'm not. I guess that if Im a baby for complaining about a that, you must be an absolute cuck.
sean murray is a hack alright
You can't both mess up your PR and be young and ambitious? Everyone makes mistakes, the PR is his.Sean Murray was their PR and he was a lying and being misleading all the way until he went radio silent.
Young and ambitious is not how I'd describe him.
If anything it's a interesting social experiment to see what happens when you mess up as a developer and then give the silent treatment.
I feel like it's worse then actually just flat-out lying of what happened. People just went berserk.
It doesn't excuse what they've done wrong of course. But I do think the amount of absolute hatred and vileness they've received is out of proportion. There have been people going to the HG office, looking through windows, stalker-like behavior. It's kinda terrifying really.
There is "messed up PR" and "literally no sign of life since August". They sold a ton of games, least they can do is keep people decently updated with their plans and what they are working on.
Don't lead people on, get a PR team, know your limits. Get help when you need it and get a PR team. Repeat don't put yourself in the limelight if you are unsure about your project.Oh geez.
I'm glad I was never one to engage in the calling for blood surrounding the game's inadequacies, because the thinly-veiled witch hunts seemed to be verging on the extreme at times. I just hope no one at the team does anything stupid. Dust yourselves off and try again.
And don't announce your game too early.
@nomanssky twitter is back. tweet gone.
Next tweet:
...for you.
Where did they communicate? Game came out on the 12th of August. Final Tweet is 18th of August. That is not being active in communicating. They put some patches out and then went dark without telling anybody what is going on.I don't really think the two situations can be compared. Remember, Hello Games were very active in communicating about fixes when the game just released. It was only when the community anger bomb truly burst that they went dark.

Again, Hello Games were very active in communicating about fixes when the game just released.

And that is ignoring the days before release where they refused to clear up any questions about the game, specifically in regards to multiplayer.
People harassing them is going way, way too far and should not happen. But they were not active in approaching the community and letting them know what's going on.
I'm glad you like to being lied and scammed at your face, but I'm not. I guess that if Im a baby for complaining about a that, you must be an absolute cuck.
Are you serious with this shit. How about the many counts of false advertising and lying to media and consumers about their product?
People have been completing about it for months. It's a game that apparently turned out mediocre, like thousands of others. Get over it.
Sometimes games get overhyped and turn out to be shit. Sometimes promised features get cut or never get put in. Learn from this and don't pre-order games. Stop trying to justify harassment.
Hello Games, as a studio, is fucked. You have already won. Move on.
Again, Hello Games were very active in communicating about fixes when the game just released. It was only when the community anger bomb truly burst (and kept going and going and going) that they went dark.
Can you really blame them?
This tweet will look awesome as an advert for new bundle

No, I don't think that deserves a hate parade like what's been going on. Don't buy their games in the future if you feel like they didn't deliver. Are you serious with this shit. How about the many counts of false advertising and lying to media and consumers about their product?
Goddammit lol.sean murray is a hack alright
The hype spiraled because of the bullshit Sean spewed.I feel so, so sorry for Sean. He's a dude who tried to do a thing, and the marketing/hype got completely out of control. It's been said a million times, but if this was a $15 game that wasn't the Second Coming in the publicity stuff, this wouldn't have happened. And the hounding has been relentless. I have no idea why people think it's okay to go to a company's offices, to try and find out somebody's home address; why it's okay to constantly scream at them, simply because they didn't like the thing that they purchased; why apparently people are owed updates, or a lack of silence after this. I can't fathom it. It's one of the worst examples I've ever seen of the internet being shit, and I was genuinely worried for a while that there would end up being a tragedy of some sort because of the massive over-reaction to a mediocre game that didn't quite do what it promised. And this tweet, unfortunately, is only going to make things that much worse - regardless if it's a hack or not.
Ubisoft had PR statements addressing the issues in like days.Well they should start talking then. Remember AC Unity fiasco? Ubisoft had updates every few days about patches and fixes.
Also tweet was deleted too fast and account got locked/protected too fast to be a hack in my opinion.
Bug fixes are nice, but there was hardly an ounce of contrition shown for people's disappointment and for the lies they had spread.I don't really think the two situations can be compared. Remember, Hello Games were very active in communicating about fixes when the game just released. It was only when the community anger bomb truly burst that they went dark.
What matters now, as always, is what we do rather than what we say.
Normski is on twitter?
