How about real legit, metal housing, nice weight, CHROME. Not chrome on plastic, but real chrome plated metal case. It would be nice and cold to pick up with enough weight to feel worthy.

We want a "classic PS1 style" DS3. Chalk it up to nostalgia. I already have a few different colors of DS3s lying around, that itch has been scratched.

Not sure I understand your failure to understand the inherent radness of a classic PS1 style DualShock 3. I'm tempted to venture a guess that you started gaming after the PS1 era, but I'm sure you'd say that's incorrect.
