Heroes Chronicles is also on GOG and that's a great way to get into the series.

Unlike EA with Origin, Ubi doesn't mandate Uplay integration when it comes to external projects -- development partners are free to choose.

I get why tablet owners are excited but eh, unless this is really cheap I'm not seeing much to get excited about here given the GOG version is pretty swell and this doesn't seem to be a big update to that.

Why couldn't 3DS or Vita handle a turn-based strategy game like HOMM ? It woudn't be that hard to port it on those platform. The original resolution of the game (800x600) isn't that far from the Vita's actually. And wasn't there a dreamcast version planned at the time ?
