Player level 901, 9 Veteran Chests, 5 loot chests and 55 epic chests. Guess I'll spend the next hour clickling stuff.
Ha, I'm getting some cool legendary skins from these veteran chests, like Infested Tychus, Azmodunk, and Ghost queen kerrigan. Even got a Deputy Valla from a regular loot chest.

I mean they nerfed eviscerate damage by 15%, and REMOVED cold blood. It's kind of a big nerf. Admit I'm right again and we can allllllllllllll move on here.

if you destroy a keep you get an extra point of damage on the next payload I believe
So, slowly getting the hang of it. Still need to mess around quite a bit, but I been particularly fond of Johanna from the couple matches I played of her. If there is something that quite annoys me, it is the camera which I end up moving it away from my character.XD Is there a locked on setting or something to keep it on my character?

Ya, press L to lock or unlock camera. I'd recommend getting used to unlocked though, it's better in the long run.

So I'm new to HOTS. Was going to claim the free 20 hero mega bundle, and I see this warning about reaching Level 10 as a recruit to receive Sylvanas as a bonus. There's a link to this page:

So if I understand this right, I get a benefit for being recruited myself (Sylvanas at Level 10), but also get a benefit for recruiting people? Looks like a portrait for one recruit and a mount for recruiting 4 people?

I was browsing through the skins and, man, can the HOTS and Overwatch skin makers swap places or something? So many awesome ones in this game.
Although I imagine they put out the D2 Amazon skin for Nova before they realized they were going to put the D2 Amazon herself into the game, oops.

Was pretty funny when that Nova skin came out. People were legit upset that it likely meant no Amazon hero.... then a year later we get the Amazon

I got one of the megapacks to start out - what's the next thing I should be doing?
Just find a hero you like and play.
The best approach is to try every hero that's available for free each week that you don't already own, so that (A) you'll know which ones you want to own and (B) you learn what to expect from them when they are on your team or against you.
They'll probably schedule his release alongside the Necromancer Diablo release.

I got the tanks bundle, but I want Gul'dan ASAP.
Just keep playing. Do dailies, level all your heroes to 5, and you can eventually just buy Gul'Dan w/ gold.
Not much you can do to advance it outside of your dailies and leveling the free heroes (and the ones you own) up for gold. At level 5 they give 500 gold. You might get some heroes quicker as well since you get a loot box for every level you gain and they drop decently often from those.
That is unless you want to buy him outright, I mean.
