Not here in Austria. Usualy it's eaten with bread. Depending on the type of bacon, the type of bread varies. Also is great in bacon&eggs. The range is from near zero fat bacon to 95% fat bacon, from air cured only, lightly smoked to heavily smoked, extremely aromatic versions. Though you can't get those in the super market, commercial companies are too cheap and average for properly smoked and spiced bacon.
