So I was hoping I might ask y'all for some more opinions or details about Stone Mountain. These mixed reviews gave me a bit of pause.
If it helps we're going to be on Sheppard, near where it meets up with Mountain View Dr., just a bit west of Ridge Ave. I'm not really familiar with the area and I read such mixed things online but Abso went to check it out for us and it looked solid enough from his impressions and pics + video so...we've got a one year lease and I'd just like it to work well enough for that time period, and to be sufficiently safe. Boring is okay, I just don't want to move somewhere unsafe.
(We're white if that makes any difference. Not to be inflammatory at all, just...if it matters. If we were moving to Compton I would mention this, too. So I know some places I've lived it's "mattered" more than others. Makes no difference to me personally, though.)
Edit: it's actually a bit east of ridge ave, near main, just northwest of a Randolph medlock park.
Probably won't be too bad. If the subdivision/street you're on is nice, I wouldn't worry about it.

Been suffering horribly with allergies even with the rains. Called my landlord a couple of days ago. Come to find out there was a leak or something so the AC was pulling pollen in from outside. My filter (normally white) was pollen green/yellow. No wonder. They are fixing that up this week and replaced my filter.
I should really fix my ac unit one day.

For those of you who didn't see, we were planning on Battle and Brew around 8, a new gaming bar in sandy springs. Looks like they have everything, consoles, PC's, huge library of games.
I wish I go, if ya do it again just give me a post.

Oh hey, that's like 15 minutes down the street. That place looks amazing. Too bad I can't drink because of the meds, but I'd totally go. I showed my roommates, and we've decided that we're going on Sunday to that VR thing. But as for a GAF meetup, I'm down for whenever. I'd just need someone to pick me up since I don't have a car.

Yes to both. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a new vehicle sometime in the near future. I'm kinda building up from ground zero here.
Speaking of which, the DDS is also pretty damn amazing, especially compared to the awful Virginia DMVs that I've been to in the past. I got my shiny new Georgia driver's license in like 15 minutes tops.
Ah ok, wasn't sure because you said it's 15 minutes down the street and wasn't sure if you meant by foot or something else. I'll probably be able to pick you up on the way if you want to meet me somewhere.
By the way, how much should we bring to this, as far as splitting up the bill for renting space? Because I usually don't carry cash, but have a couple spare fivers around.

How much of ATL gaf in ITP? I live out off exit 120 on 85 (Hamilton Mill area) we have a cool board game shop that opened up out here that would be a cool meet up for people if they want to play nerd games. Just not sure how many of you live out here. Sounds like most people live in you know... actual Atlanta
edit: Also, I may be interested in going to Battles and Brews sometime. One because I like to pretend I am good at fighting games (I am not) , but two because I am a craft beer fan and I don't mind overpaying for some of my favorites if its someplace cool. If I am able to attend I could pick up a couple folks that live around me and make the carpool a bit easier. Not this time, but maybe in the future if something is planned I may be able to.

If ya'll are going to Battles and Brews I am not sure the charge for cover or games, but the beer is a little more than twice what you would pay per bottle from a actual store. Not too bad for a bar in a city.
I didn't realize there might be something happening at B&B tonight. I might be able to drop by. My plans are currently up in the air. Prices for beer are not bad for it being a bar. They have bottles of Genesse for $2 and PBR for $3 I think. Lily Flag Milk Stout is good and is only $4 on draft. I amazingly never play games there, mostly just drink and hangout. It has been pretty busy every time I have been since they re-opened.
I am a beer goober and would be drinking Palate Wrecker or Dragon's Milk. Stuff is a bit more expensive but I will be god damned if it isn't great. If your driving you really only need to buy one as well because they are like between 9 and 11% APV lol !
