At about 2:20 in it looks like he is having a hard time melee'ing the locust due to camera / orientation issues. I hope to god this doesn't happen often in the final game as it will probably make me throw the controller across the room. And i'll probably get tired of the constant "nice" "sick" "sweet" "bogus" lines. Otherwise this game looks tits.

And again there is no need to defend the title with your life. It's obviously a system seller and a killer app and has fantastic graphics. I am just disappointed because it's not what I was expecting.

What are you not getting here. The gameplay mechanic is like KillSwitch. It's not necessarily a bad thing for those that like KillSwitch, but it's not my cup of tea.

Well, I came here to see the new media. I saw it. And I stated an my opinion. I'm just sick of all the fanbois being stalwarts for "the cause". Ge over it. It's not okay to be like that. It never was.

Visually stunning, but they showed a very boring segment of gamplay. I've never liked Hold and Defend areas in games.

Also I love the corny over the top voice acting. Its very suited for this style of game.

You're right. I do get giddy for the MGS series. I was a bit over the top with it. I'll admit that. But it's really the only franchise I'm crazy about, besides a few of the classic Nintendo franchises (Mario, Zelda, Metdroid).

Hey man, there really should be no reason to state an allegiance. Why have one in the first place? Enjoy the games you like and critique the ones you don't or find problems with. Why do we constantly need to be allied with a corporate power?

I feel like all 3 companies have made the case to purchase their respective systems. No system is really better than the next. It's all about the IPs and the entry fee to play them.

Sure it looks great technically, nothing to complain. But it looks so lame and boring to me. While in the trailers of Resistance (or MGS4 or Killzone 2) there is so much going on that gives you the feeling of being just a small part of something big happening, this is just like every stupid shooter where every single enemy just goes for your.

No great physics or destructible geometry on display, the environment from what I can see in this bad quality video look a little uninspired.

And dont tell me Killzone 2 is only GC and the game will never look like that. Probably too, we sure will see quite a 'downgrade' from the trailer...but even if it looks technically worse than this, it would still look 10x more fun to me (if they keep the essence of what is happening in the trailer).

It's one admittedly lame demo. There have been plenty of other videos of this game where far more is happening on screen, including physics and destruction.

Looks pretty good, I don't mind the "jelly like" blood i think it looks pretty cool. Animation and frame rate still looked kinda wonky, but I'm sure when it's out it'll be locked at 30. The area looked a little on the boring side, and I would have liked to see little bit more of the tactics you can use other then the duck and cover gameplay.

This game has some of the most generic VA I've ever heard. The aliens talking just makes me wanna mute the damn thing and the humans are boring as well. The gameplay vid at the conference looked pretty boring too. Just run and shoot and that's it.
