His favourite boss is Radahn.
mr. miyazaki:
it's not particularly inspired by any particular game,
as a user, i play many open-world games called masterpieces,
i was very inspired by each of them.
i don't have time to mention the title,
Like The Elder Scrolls series and The Witcher 3.
especially in recent years, i think "the legend of zelda: breath of the wild" has been mentioned.
I can see the inspiration from TES when it comes to making the copy paste caves and mine shafts with repeated assets.BotW was obviously the largest inspiration in Elden Ring.
And in the castle areas, some times they remind me of the architecture and textures from TES but with a FROM touch to them. More shadows and grim looking aesthetic but based on the same kind of medieval castles from TES.I can see the inspiration from TES when it comes to making the copy paste caves and mine shafts with repeated assets.
BotW was obviously the largest inspiration in Elden Ring.

Care to be more specific?
BotW was obviously the largest inspiration in Elden Ring.
It is a big open world. That's really the depth of the comparisons honestly. People will go on and on about "Oh it's the sense of freedom in this game that obviously inspired Miyazaki. . ." or some abstract nonsense. ER feels and plays like Openworld-Dark Souls. Full stop.
Clearly, same barren and boring to tears openworld.BotW was obviously the largest inspiration in Elden Ring.
BOTW and diversity are like water and oil. Games a great physics system but non stop repeated assets. Elden ring has more unique enemies than any open world in ages.I don't think so.
Elden Ring doesn't compare in terms of scale, weapon function, gameplay mechanics, overworld diversity...basically anything. In single terms, ER is basically an open world Souls game.
If it is because its an"open world" then theres tons out there,so take your pick.
Want a real example of a game who took inspiration from BoW? Genshin Impact.
Theyre both good, lets not start this flamewar again.Elden Ring better than BOTW

What the actual fuck are you talking about. Elden Ring has less diversity in weapon function, gameplay mechanics, and overworked diversity than. . .Breath of the Wild???
Oh gotcha, I thought you were saying BotW was better in those respectsRe-read again please. I say it doesn't compare. Where do you read me saying that ER has less weapons than BoW?
Of course it is, the bloody psychopath! It took me forever to beat Radahn, he was a massive pain in the ass.[/URL]
