Hire 3 game designers to make you a game :)

Exactly. Shinji Mikami is a masterful game producer and facilitated Suda 51's development of one of the most iconoclastic games of all time in Killer 7. Similarly, Kamiya was able to make one of the most formative sequels of the 90s under Mikami's tutelage with Resident Evil 2. All three of these men working together again would likely yield one of the most original yet refined games of all time. I don't know that I could handle the awesomeness honestly.

oh found it
Shadows of the Dammed .

Lord British - Create new language and morality system that the game will use.
Derek Smart - In charge of programming and project management.
Fumito Ueda - Creates loveable companion that will die at the end of the game.

One can only wonder.

thats a picture of a very high metacritic average XD

Hideki Kamiya
Tomonobu Itagaki
Hideaki Itsuno

They may have different approaches with regards to their contributions to character action games, but FUCK IT, make the craziest, hardest, most insane action game ever conceived.

Tetsuya Nomura
Hideki Kamiya
Hidetaka Miyazaki

I had an idea.
This is better. the Chrono Trigger of our times.

We've already got a really solid S-E\Sony partnership, P* is making a game with Square, and Miyazaki is often at Sony... it's not COMPLETE fanfiction. There's a shot this could actually happen in the next ten years.

I'll also take a Sakaguchi \ Itou \ Uematsu game. : (

-Todd Howard
-Neil Bruckman
-Hidetaka Miyazaki

And then Jeremy Soule for the music. That would make one hell of an RPG.

Hidetaka Miyazaki to do level design and lore, Hideki Kamiya to design the combat mechanics, and Hideo Kojima to act as a general producer to make sure it's all shiny and chrome.

They would probably all kill each other.

Shinji Mikami
Hideki Kamiya
Suda 51

I would think the reasons would be pretty obvious. Whatever they made would likely be my favorite game ever.
This is the only correct answer, Although substituting Mikami for Kamiya is acceptable.

No, Kamiya is a much better director/producer than Kojima because he can deliver games ahead of schedule and under budget. Have Kojima write the story and direct the cutscenes.

Hidetaka Miyazaki
Fumito Ueda

Honestly, I'd just love to see those two work on a game, doesn't need a third guy.

Put a veteran like Mikami or Inafune there to deliver the project to an end and close the loops that those two would generate from each other (like I said in my post above - I saved Sakaguchi for the crazier ones like Kojima and Kamiya)

but yeah.. =)

I think those kind of things would rely more on having a good team, than the director, to be honest.

Chris Avellone - writing and RPG mechanics
Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz - quest design
Hideo Kojima - gameplay

Chris Avellone gets another shot at Alpha Protocol 2. He writes another incredible script emphasizing all the choice/consequence and designs player character builds. Hideo Kojima designs the gameworld and gameplay based on said RPG mechanics, and brings his level of polish to the game. Mateusz (The Witcher 3 lead quest designer) works with MCA on design of each mission.

Harvey Smith (Deus Ex and Dishonored) was the first developer left out.
