I just want Sakaguchi, Uematsu and Amano back for another AAA jRPG.
Exactly. Shinji Mikami is a masterful game producer and facilitated Suda 51's development of one of the most iconoclastic games of all time in Killer 7. Similarly, Kamiya was able to make one of the most formative sequels of the 90s under Mikami's tutelage with Resident Evil 2. All three of these men working together again would likely yield one of the most original yet refined games of all time. I don't know that I could handle the awesomeness honestly.

This is the only correct answer, Although substituting Mikami for Kamiya is acceptable.Shinji Mikami
Hideki Kamiya
Suda 51
I would think the reasons would be pretty obvious. Whatever they made would likely be my favorite game ever.
Hidetaka Miyazaki to do level design and lore, Hideki Kamiya to design the combat mechanics, and Hideo Kojima to act as a general producer to make sure it's all shiny and chrome.
They would probably all kill each other.

Hidetaka Miyazaki
Fumito Ueda
Honestly, I'd just love to see those two work on a game, doesn't need a third guy.
Put a veteran like Mikami or Inafune there to deliver the project to an end and close the loops that those two would generate from each other (like I said in my post above - I saved Sakaguchi for the crazier ones like Kojima and Kamiya)
but yeah.. =)
I think those kind of things would rely more on having a good team, than the director, to be honest.
Maybe Miyazaki could be the grown up in the relationship with Ueda and deliver within timelines
Hehehe.Miyazaki
