No need to be elitist. I have read both Dark Tower and several Dostoevsky books and can appreciate both for what they are. In any case, people are likely referring to best fantasy story.

Come on guys, I didn't say King was horrible or not an enjoyable read, I simply did not agree in any sense that you would call his books the best stories ever told. I too enjoy many different types of litterateur, for Gods sake I loved Harry Potter.

Highly recommend reading the books even if you only marginally enjoyed the movies. Their is a reason they took off in popularity, probably the gold start example of perfect world building. The movies just scratch the surface.

Game looks cool. Still not sure if I'll play it but will definitely watch the wife play it via PS5 on the new Bravia. I'm excited to see how it looks and plays.

If you're wondering, the only reason I'm not sure if I'll play it is because I just have too many other games to play and I'm not about to try and negotiate PS5 time. I just want my wife to enjoy it as much as she can.

Just pre-ordered the game largely to show my support for Avalanche. The developers have put their heart and soul into what is clearly a passion project for them, only to get dragged unnecessarily.

Everything is looking so positive but I have long learned to trust my instincts and this is going to be between average and Nice. an actual SOLID 7.5/10, not just by any inflated system.

Given that, I'm expecting a 6/10 - 7/10 aggregate score from critics due to the major outlets dinging it unfairly (I.E. not for reasons actually related to the game itself). User scores could also be dragged down given how many critics of Rowling will likely flood Metacritic and the like with 1/10 "reviews", but probably no lower than 7/10.

One of the previewers talked about the experience before hand, basically whole thing was guided and they were told where to go at certain points in the 2 hours. Guessing this was one of those required moments.

If nukes wipe most of us out but these two books survive they'd be taken as seriously as the Bible.

no really 60 fps mode looks different who could have guessed. Its only pushing double the fps which needs double the gpu power not to mention cpu struggles with 60 too more.
