This is hilarious. Fucking Dokkum.

And MMaRsu, you actually got asked? Shame you didn't join them, having a GAFfer on the show would've been awesome...

Man, if you're Dutch and you want to pretend to be a badass, why not pretend to be a kickboxer and say you train with Golden Glory?

Well for that you would be called out to prove it in the ring. Now they get called out behind the tractor shed to show how much they have saved up on their "Rabo Jongerenrekening" for that Colt.

Actually I resent this comment ( because I'm not really a wigger thank god ), but I did however get asked to participate in this show, and was told that if I was really into hiphop I could get on it and go to the states.

I initially signed up because I was kind of put on the spot, but dropped out later when they called me up. I am into hiphop but not like these idiots rofl.

Smart move.

This show just seems to be about making fun of wiggers and not actually about hiphop/rap.

My hometown so I'll have to represent ;)

Heh, pretty close.

Yeah, Holland doesn't have a hip-hop-scene one could be proud of, most of the kids/guys/girls that are living the 'thug-life' are enjoying the fruits of a welfare-state. Dutch rappers are generally a joke, even compared to American or British wash-ups and wanna-be's.

You may not be proud of it, but we have a quite a few notable, extremely skilled MC's/lyricists here that have nothing to do with thugs and gangsters. Extince, Djiggy Dje, Sticky Steez & Rico are a few of those.

This program is clearly a mockumentary, taking the most extreme of wiggers they can find just for ratings. They are not at all representative of the actual Dutch hip-hop scene.

I don't think anyone sane assumes that they are representative of the Dutch hip-hop scene.

Dutch hiphop sucks, the only exception might be good old Extince.

Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and all the other crap, no, just no...

But I guess I'm still stuck in the early 90s rap-wise. (still listen to all the westcoast shit from back then)

This program, if real, will definitely be funny though, will watch !

Extince is still great, saw him awhile ago in Breda. He did some classics thank god because not many people knew his new stuff.

Either way, dutch hiphop doesn't suck. There are plenty of good artists out here. Typhoon, Opgezwolle, Jawat(?), Winne, Jeugd.. really there are a lot :).

"Life in dokkum though" ooh man.
Thinking about it cycling to school is already though for him lets stand a day of physical labor.
I would love to see him work as a hod carrier(google says its"Opperman" in english). Then he can complain about live being though.

I really do not see the issue, these are people who are living the way they want. You might disagree but really why would anyone care?

There are tons of dumb reality shows, no make that all of them are dumb but if people watch it then it must be entertaining to someone. If there are Holland kids that want to be rappers, so be it. Would it be better if they were into death metal? Electronica? House music?
