I originally owned Odin Sphere leifthrasir on Vita but later on I play it on PS4 and the game just feels MUCH better with proper controller.
You can use your ds4 on the Vita! You...you have modded your Vita right?

I feel bad for voting P5 :C. HK deserves to win because it's a fantastic game made by 2(?) dudes but yeah P5 does offer more.

Kill your babies time.
Both are the top class of their genre.

Hollow Knight is the finest Metroidvania of the generation, being developed by a small team (3 people) that gave the game so many free DLCs that would make CD Project look greedy in comparison. Controls so tight that feels like playing the best 2d 8/16-bits platformers, amazingly fitting soundtrack and graphics. It was the first metroidvania that made me feel truly threaten by enemies and bosses. Oh and it's lengthy too. If you like metroidvanias you NEED to play this.

Oh and there is the hypest boss rush mode ever.

Persona 5 is by far the best turn base JRPG of this gen. I don't think I need to make a case for this one.
I'll have to think a lot to cast my vote on this one.

I won't vote because I haven't played hollow knight, but I do think Persona 5 is a travesti of a game.

This comes from a Persona and Shin Megami Tensei fan.

The plot and characters were not interesting, the game was essentially on rails (damn cat always telling me what to do or sleep) no free will whatsoever and they treated the player as a retard with all the instant messaging back and forth recapping everything. All characters are really generic as is the plot, repeating something around the lines of "the world of the adults" or just "adults" 1000 times like some deep rooted inferiority complex is going on, I know this is a high school game, but this whole kids against adults thing was never a central theme on other Persona games, because it's stupid.

Too much padding for its own good too.

First two dungeons you're waiting for it to really take off, then it never does.

No, I dont modd my systems....its not a good option for me.
You can do more with your Vita and you get to ditch the crappy proprietary memory card. (main reason I modded mine) I no longer have to switch my games, the games load a bit faster and I disabled the brightness lowering itself in most games. Not to mention I can patch games that would otherwise be Japanese (or undub) only. Hell you can even play your precious Catherine on it.

It is a softmod you can always unmod your Vita if you want to later on. Even when you chose to enso it. (it starts with custom firmware vs you having to run a program every time you restart the system for apps/ to run)

mmmmmm......I might do that, but I still want Vanillaware to release Muramasa on PS4/Switch.

Enjoyed both, but Hollow Knight is truly something special. Persona 5 is like a really good team delivering a really good game. Hollow Knight is a short-period comet we just happened to be there for.

I've never understood the hollow knight love. And I LOVE sidescrollers And retro style games. But this just never felt interesting to me. It's one of my bigger disconnects in gaming where I just can't see what everyone else sees.

persona 5 is a big step down from 4. But it's still a cool and fun game.

Nah I'm right there with you. It has a neat atmosphere and mostly good music to go with it, but gameplay wise I think it's bland and just way too much filler. I think it's vastly overrated. And Super Metroid and SOTN are two of my all time favorite games. It just doesn't measure up at all.

Persona 5 will lose to Bloodborne in the next stage, right? 😞

Is that so strange that people like Japanese games!? Most of us grow up mostly playing Japanese games.
While all weeb games may be Japanese not all Japanese games are weeb.

I like a lot of Japanese games, just not the cringe inducing ones.

Also I'm actually a big fan of the Gravity Rush games and voted for GR2 against Mario

I'm sorry I just don't understand or even care the logic behind word "weeb". Gravity Rush also has anime art style, if you think Persona 5 is "weeb" then so is Gravity Rush.

Persona for my jrpgs buddies out there (even though you all back stabbed me on Destiny 2).

It's not the art style. It comes down to the characters, dialogue and story. They are melodramatic with juvenile philosophy and are filled with caricatures.

If thats the case then I find Marvel/DC and Star Wars 100000X worse.

Hallow knight.

A long game that keeps on giving. Although I enjoyed persona 5 it has wayyyyy too much padding for my liking.

I personally couldn't care less of what people like to consider "weeb", that word just meaningless to me.

If liking games like Nier, Persona, Odin Sphere and Gravity Rush makes "weeb" then fine by me.

Persona may be popular to dunk on by SMT standards, but it's no Kingdom Hearts.

Persona 5 hands down without a doubt. no question. it's almost insulting.

Hollow Knight is an overrated piece of garbage game. It doesn't do anything special compared to the thousand other games like it.

I'd rank the top three PS4 exclusives

1. Bloodborne
2. God of War
3. Persona 5
Those are my exact choices, and in that same order (though Persona 5 and GOW may be more tied).

Hell ya

Persona 5 isnt a PS4 exclusive.
What other console is it on? The wiki just lists PS3 and PS4 (you're not talking about PS3, are you?). Persona 5 Royal is PS4 only.
