The Maverick is infinitely better than the Long Shot. Better out of the box and better after mods as well.

Don't buy the whistle darts though, they're not sized properly and so they don't work.

There is. Just about every nerf gun in the N-Strike series has the same scope mount on them. They can call use the scope that comes with the Longshot.

You can not only mount a scope on it, but apparently it and several other Nerf guns can plug into the sniper rifle to create some kind of gun abomination.
