I bring up Bale = Howl in every miyazaki thread hoping balegaf comes in to defend the movie... they never do :(

Lorenzo Music (the voice of Garfield from Garfield and Friends) is the greatest voice actor ever. His Garfield = perfect

RIP :(

Steve Blum does so many different voices. He's very easy to spot.

Liquid's voice actor also does the Blood Elves in WoW.

Frank Welker. The VOICE of our childhood

About damn time he got brought up... (and you forgot nibbler from futurama)

oh yeah not a video game but i thought it was cool while watching "deadliest warrior" i thought the voice sounded familiar who narrates the show.

Phil LaMarr is just plain awesome. There's nothing surprising about him having so much range and being so prolific.

Bale fans have too much taste to listen to dubs.

The coolest part about Lorenzo Music's voice lineage is that he voiced Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters cartoon back in the mid-80s.

18 years later, Bill Murray voiced Garfield in the live-action flick of the same name.

I'm not sure there's ever been another instance of a prominent VA voicing a celebrity's iconic character only to then have the same celebrity voice that VA's iconic character sometime later.

Ok, these are (usually) all done by the same voice actor for german dubs:

to name but a few... The voice actor is called David Nathan and he does many more.

And believe it or not, most people won't recognize/realize this AT ALL. In german Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stalone have the same guy dubbing them.

Prob well know, but I saw Terminator Salvation last night and Michael Ironside is the commander dude. Sounded so weird hearing Sam Fisher giving orders to everyone.

Except this one that tends to throw people for a loop if you didn't already know it was him:

Charles Martinet aka Mario did voices for Kane and Lynch, World in Conflict, Jedi Knight II and alot of other Non nintendo properties

I love Phil Lamarr's voice. What's so great is that he fulfills the typical gruff, black male voice in a lot of his roles, and so it amazed me to discover one of my favorite recent roles was by him:

Soft-spoken, pretty boy Ramza played by Phil Lamarr? I mean, I'm still sceptical this isn't some sort of internet hoax. Is it?
Whoa O_o

Oh, here's one that probably gets a lot of people.

Arngrim from the original Valkyrie Profile had a much gruffer voice than the person who took the duties for the second game. Here's a picture of said voice actor next to one of their more popular roles:

Maddie Blaustein (RIP) was a male-to-female transgender, and she actually did a lot of great work. I hear a lot of complaints about the first Valkyrie Profiles VA, which I really don't understand as I think it's all fantastic, but she did my favorite roles in the game. And of course, Meowth is just iconic by this point, I think (though she wasn't the first one, she's the one that replaced the original shortly after it started).
WHOA! O_O

I'm currently watching Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman. It was interesting to learn that Arthur the robot has the same voice actress as Satoshi from Pocket Monsters.

Japanese, Kappei Yamaguchi:

Also:

Goku from DBZ
and

Morrison from the Pokemon anime

are both voiced by Sean Schemmel in English, and by Masako Nozawa in Japanese.

My roommate & I are going through the Justice League series at the moment. Not only is that show full of prolific voice actors (including the already-mentioned Phil Lamar as the Green Lantern), but, especially as a DC nerd, the recurring cast & guest stars blow my mind. Examples:

Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor from Smallville) as The Flash
Mark Hamill as The Joker and Solomon Grundy
Michael Ironside as Darkseid
J.K. Simmons as General Eiling
John C. McGinley as The Atom
Michael Dorn (Worf from Star Trek) as Kalibak
Jeremy Piven as the Elongated Man
Tom Sizemore as Metamorpho

Pam Grier, Jason Bateman, Robert Englund, John Rhys-Davies, Neil Patrick Harris, Udo Keir, Michael McKean, Alfred Molina, the list goes on. They wrangled quite a cast for that show.

And these are only his notable roles... a fraction of what he does overall.

Now that I remember it, Spike and the toonami robot voice were the same. His best was Spike.

I'm pretty sure his use of the word "bang" at the end of Toonami's final broadcast was an allusion to the ending of Cowboy Bebop.
