As long as there are people who are pro-something, there will always be people that are anti-that-something. It's one of the laws of society.

Not getting at you specifically, just this point seemed a little off.

Do you think people like you are in the minority? Of the 4 PS3 owning people I know, one isn't online (at all) and the other 3 don't have there's set up to stream from their PCs. And none of them has any media on the PS3. Actually, apart from the trailers I've DL'ed I don't have any media on there either. Crazy.
The Take Out Bandit said:I'm not streaming though. Those folks are in the minority, the hardcore technogeeks that figure that stuff out. I recently gave it a shot and it's neat, but not something I'd like to do all the time. Granted that's my own paranoia, I didn't monkey with the options of the program; but I have concerns about neighbors being able to access my data from my streaming machine, which is why I'd rather not stream.
I could be in the minority in that I enjoy the convenience of one device instead of several. I used to have a DVD player with Divx playback, but since purchasing a PS3 that has gone unused. I stopped using my CD player since I can toss a library of music on my hard disk.
Yeah, I reckon there are some people out there who don't enjoy convenience; but I'd like to think there are more folks out there who would want this.![]()

Not to say you're wrong about the whole 'one box' thingy, I agree on that, but streaming is so easy these days.

That was way back when. That can't happen anymore.BadlyCookedTurkey said:Did anyone else hear that there's some group on the beta who wear red shirts who go around blocking people from moving and shouting at them.
That's some lame shit, and if home is full of that it'll suck.

What about the other gamespaces? Warhawk and Resistance? I couldn't find them last time i checked
NekoFever said:The Resistance and Warhawk ones make sense to me because they're multiplayer games and you can use it as a lobby to get together for a game, discuss tactics, or whatever. Seems a bit pointless to have one for a year-old single-player game. It looks cool and the mini-games are a nice idea, but nothing really beyond that.
Everyone's quick to jump on Roders5 but that's pretty much exactly what I'm likely to do with this implementation of Home.

Sure. But, all I did was describe the size of the room. Lay off, papa. :lolMetalmurphy said:You do realize you're under an NDA right?
There's an arcade machine and three locked doors, so that's not accurate really.n1n9tean said:BLOWS. :lol :lol :lol
You unlock the door on the right and you go into a tiny room the size of one of those room they put crazy people in with pillows on the walls and all there is is artifacts on shelves that you can only look at. That's it. There's NOTHING else to do in there. This is after downloading the room for like 10-15 minutes.
Wish I knew. I really have no clue at all.Really? What for?
You did more then thatn1n9tean said:Sure. But, all I did was describe the size of the room. Lay off, papa. :lol
The arcade game may be cool. I don't know because it's always crowded with people waiting to play. One guy just said "I've been waiting here for 3 hours. Somebody get off so I can play!!!" and we all just laaaaaughed.chubigans said:There's an arcade machine and three locked doors, so that's not accurate really.
