Can't play such games for long time, where you aren't allowed to blink even once, but Stardust was phenomenal and this looks good too.

Damn, I spent countless hours on Defender. I was a boss at that game. Must say, it was a lot easier with a turbo pad though lol.

WELL. That's good to hear - I honestly wasn't that impressed by the trailer. I spent a lot of time in SSHD and loved it, but something about this reveal trailer left me a bit cold. Maybe it was the switch away from the direct feed to a wide angle of the crowd irritating me.
But I'll have + so there's no doubt I'll be trying it out. If there's anything half as fun as using the gold melter on Coventina I'm be ecstatic.

Weren't the extra modes DLC for PSP and PSV versions of SSHD? Expect the same here. Free core game, pay for extra modes. Also, some sort of expendable powerup system to monetize it. (See also: Candy Crush Saga.)

Think I scored 70,000,000 in SSHD; Needless to say, I loved that game. For some reason I'm not all that hyped on this new game. Meh, free is free

I was atleast hoping that we would get to see Dead Nation on Vita at gamescom. I dont if its actually being developed by House, but having it on Vita will be good.
Does it matter? Sony is publishing regardless, so HM isn't getting money per sale, just whatever lump sum they worked out with Sony, I presume.

I hope they have something like Outland coming. This scratches the itch for an awesome twin stick shooter/shmup but I sure to hope it's not an isometric game like Dead Nation.

The whole game reminds me of a CG from the late 90's/early 2000's which is pretty amazing.

They better announced Dead Nation 2 for PS4, then. Otherwise it's just a massive tease
That being said, the DN engine is so awesome I was hoping to see more games utilize it on the PS3 (a little late now, of course).

Since Resogun seems like more of a departure from Stardust than I expected, it'd be really nice if they could at least port SSHD to PS4 somewhere down the line...I am going to miss Stardust though
been so long i dont remember the names, it goes to very hard, then extreme, then insane and then it just loops over and over again getting faster every playthrough.

Remember, you have to subscribe to PS+ if you want to play online. So, I would imagine a huge portion of PS4 owners (maybe the majority of them) will get this for free. As much as I loved my PS3, it looks like (if I do get PS+) owning a PS4 is going to be even better, especially with all the F2P games such as War Thunder, PlanetSide 2, DC: Universe Online, and more I can't remember. Remember, those games can be played online without PS+.
