Lets say this.
I don't think I'll get another Chrono game in my lifetime.
Are you terminal?

Oh I know he worked on it. It was minor. But I'm just saying that if he had a bigger part in a new Chrono game, it would be most likely wouldn't feel like Chrono Trigger.
Btw, I actually enjoy his games.
What does Chrono feel like? Being that Trigger and Cross are vastly different from one another.
What is Kato up to anymore? Last I heard he was still working on FFXI stuff, but that would have been a number of years ago now... He's really the only person I'd trust with the Chrono series as far as story goes.
Did you know M. Night Shyamalan once directed a good movie called the Sixth Sense?
I don't really care what the guy did or didn't do 10 years ago.
Right here and right now he sucks, specially because every modern game he has been involved with (specially as director) ends up having the story equivalent of a 12 years old kid trying to write a "deep and emotional story".
Modern Chrono by Nomura would star a version of Chono that looks like a memeber of a japanese Boy Band and is basically an angsty teen struggling with the "the dark chains that have taken over his aching heart" or some BS like that
PS: Also he was a " field graphic artist" in Chrono Trigger.
Sort of .... slightly... different than game director or writer

And let's not forget Radical Dreamers, which is radically (Pun intented) different from the other games.

Mostly all of the original staff of Chrono Trigger/Cross doesn't work on Square-Enix anymore. They can do a sequel anyway but... meh.
Yeah, I always wanted to see him direct another game... Many might say the series is better off dead, but as long as Kato would be on the team, a new Chrono would turn out fine I think. What is Kato up to anymore? As dead as The Last Guardian.
As dead as a FFVII Remake
Deader than Shenmue III.
As dead as The Last Guardian.
Chrono's back, baby!
Sorry. My son was talking about the Chrono series and I searched GAF for a thread and saw this which I found amusing.

holy shit I can say I witnessed the greatest bump in the history of GAF.
Nah, this the third best I've seen. Nothing beats a 10 year bump.
You win.Chrono's back, baby!
Sorry. My son was talking about the Chrono series and I searched GAF for a thread and saw this which I found amusing.
but the relevance was so on point.... is there really something better than this?
Haha, glad it brought you guys some enjoyment, too!
Am I missing something here? Why is necro-bumping a thread just to say Chrono is back (when it obviously isn't) so funny?
The posts from last year all making jokes about how it's as dead as Final Fantasy 7, The Last Guardian and Shenmue 3

As dead as a FFVII Remake
As dead as The Last Guardian.
As dead as the Mother series is.
As dead as the rest of those jrpgs from that era that are not money makers and nobody buys..... Really sad state in gaming when everything is a shooter or sports....
JRPG is dead jim.
Sequel will release day and date with Shenmue Life 3.
Definitely the infamous Mortal Kombat vs. DC bump beats this one: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55845
That said, well played, Zach.
