How do you draw a circle? It tells a lot about you.

Clockwise makes no sense if you are right handed. It requires more strain to pull your right hand inward for the clockwise motion.

Counter clockwise better accommodates using the open space to a person's left, when their right hand they use for drawing is sitting on the right hand side of their paper or space

Counter clockwise GOAT

Bizarre the anti-clockwise is so prevalent.

From the top left clockwise.

EDIT:

Actually when I took a pen and wrote some words (print), I do it from the top left anticlockwise!

even drawing a circle rather than a letter is natural that way.

Yet with the mouse the other way felt better. I think you cannot take a point device to be 1:1 with pen/brushstroke.
You move a mouse more with the wrist, in a relaxed position. Oh so many variable.

Lastly I wrote the letter "o" with a clockwise froward arc, reversing into an anticlockwise circle in handwritten script.

Makes sense Americans would draw counter clockwise because we write and read left to right, so it's a more natural motion to do before making the next character/symbol. Right? Kinda?

I drew it from the top and counterclockwise, like the article kind of went into, probably due to my o's, a', d's, g's, q's etc. all going that way!!

Counterclockwise from the top. I thought this article would tell me something about my personality rather than I'm like 80% of Americans.

Wow only 14% do clockwise in the US!! That's interesting. Perhaps I draw it clockwise because my mom is an Asian immigrant and she taught it to me that way.

I just realized that I draw circles clockwise, but write the letter "o" counter-clockwise, so maybe I'm wrong after all lol.

Same here. I'm right handed, and when drawing I go clockwise, but writing an 'o' or '0', I got counter-clockwise. I tried drawing a circle counter-clockwise and it came out more of an oval than when I go clockwise. I also always start at the top.

Left handed mostly. Circles are clockwise from the top. The letter o is counter clockwise from the bottom. The number zero is counter clockwise from the top. I don't know what this means.

Damn it, was posted already

We right from left to right. The loops we do in cursive are counter clockwise. Not surprised that would carry over to circle drawing.

even though i write the letter "O" counter clockwise when printing, I always draw circles starting at the top and moving clockwise because of clocks, I would assume.

I actually tend to draw circles in two half since when drawing you generally want to pull curved lines and push straight ones.

So tend to start at the top, draw the left half, then starting at the top draw the right half to connect it. I've found for me it helps when drawing them.

*edit*

I'm right handed.

I am pretty skeptical about the claims they make regarding what it means about how you draw a circle.

I would be more inclined that it simply depends on how you were taught to draw or write the alphabet in early education like preschool or the equivalent. That may differ based on location, but I would guess it's just how your teacher did it and/or learned to do it themselves.

And I am from the US and draw circles counter-clockwise with pen and paper.
