It's my understanding that to get a hickey the person has to put their mouth on your neck and suck creating suction or something? Why would anyone do that?

People seem to think you are aware of it when it is happening. I don't know about anyone else but when it happened to me it was a complete surprise when I went in the bathroom, my mind was not focused on what she was doing to my neck, I was more focused on the head...
