Don't buy a OLED unless you want to babysit your TV constantly for burn in. I will buy QLED next time.
QLED is just LCD tv just like "LED" and whatever word trickery companies use.
Samsung marketing must work because I see this so often, that people seem to have the idea that QLED would be something special above other LCD TVs and some even compare it to OLED / think it is OLED becaues of so similar scammy name.
Just pointing out that there is no smart reasons to limit options to QLED only, they have shitty models with bad image quality too.
For image quality OLED is superior and nothing comes (except micro led) close to it in dark room. For non-dark rooms LCD is good enough for most.
And OLED burn in isnt as bad as people think, yeah it can happen with stupid usage, like viewing desktop / news channel for hours with too bright oled-light level. But for regular mixed usage I would not fear it too much.
If you have the money and want best black levels + image quality = OLED
otherwise = get a budget, get the size you want, buy the best LCD your budget allows. For gaming Sony xh90 / x900h is good, but IMO hdmi 2.1 features arent so important that it should be the biggest factor. Image quality + input lag should be on top priority.
That is why I use my 2014 fullHD Sony 48" until Sonly oled prices drop to around 1000€ for 55" or xh90 gets under 600€
