How likely is it Bloodborne will be on PC?

Very hard to happen, Shu said it was his biggest mistake for Demon's Soul and i think Sony will be careful for Bloodborne this time
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are two different IP. I'm pretty sure From can do whatever they please with a Bloodborne inspired series that hits all platforms like Dark Souls.

I think this is that too....

No, I'm not that pathetic. You have better things to think about that doesn't insult my intelligence.

I have both a PS4 and a PC. If I wanted to ask if the game would be on PC, I would've asked. Instead, I asked about the likelihood. The question's been answered. I got what I wanted.

Well, I'd say its about as likely as Sony buying out AMD. The bonus would be that then they'd have an incentive to release everything on PC!

I think he means Sony ignoring the game in the west. It became a cult hit right under their noses. Sony now wants to keep the Bloodborne franchise under their roof rather than have From leave to a third party to make "Blood Souls" or something.

Be aware, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. Two titles. Lot of Dark Soul players never play or heard of Demon Soul.

Bloodborne is same thing as demon's souls.

Best you can hope for is a "sequel" called "Darkborne" or something that takes several of the gameplay ideas and a similar setting but is still a different game and a new Ip.

As for bloodborne, there is probably a 0% chance of it comming to other platforms.
Sony is paying for it to be made, owns the IP AND is helping to develop it.
It's about as likely to come to PC as Halo 5 coming to Ps4

Barely following here.

From Software is a third party developer that can go and work wherever they please since Sony doesn't own them. Whereas an exclusive IP is static and not leaving it's home platform. From can just as easily make a brother/sister IP that plays and looks somewhat similar to Bloodborne like they did with Dark Souls (I assume) which it several platforms. That's all I'm saying.

It's not just about Sony publising, look what happened with MS publishing Mass Effect and Ninja Gaiden 2..

....but Sony are actually co-producing this game. Sony Japan peeps are actually working on this game, no way it's coming out anywhere else.

Yes and what Sony is probably trying to do is make From as happy as possible so that they don't leave to make a brother/sister IP to Bloodborne. Making it a flagship title for the PS4 versus not even publishing Demon Souls in the west on PS3 is a pretty big sign of that.

I didnt mean to insult you but were have you been the last few months? We have gone over Bloodborne's "exclusivity" status. There is no if and or buts. Shit is locked down. Dark Souls wasnt co-developed by SCEJ so that's why its got released on 360/PC.

Now that's some food for thought I never considered.

Well Sony is publishing it so I say as much chance as Uncharted 4 coming to PC.

Edit: Beaten harder then PSN's servers today

Well I do wonder if a company can trademark certain ideas or gameplay structures to keep that from happening. Wasn't that the problem with Harmonix and the Amplitude IP?

Correct me if i am wrong but i remembered the producer of FROM said they made Bloodborne into a different franchise because they don't want the confuse between Souls games.

Sony published and co-developed, so no - not very likely.

Unless there is a drastic change in Sony's policies regarding exclusives to Playstation platform, the chance for that is 0%.
The only way to play Bloodborne on your PC would be through emulation.
There are PS1 and PS2 emulators. There probably won't be PS3 Emulator due to the very difficult architecture of the Cell.(don't rule out though).
Ps4 uses x86 architecture so an emulator is very likely. Maybe after 10 years? :P

Don't know why there is no OG XBox emulator though...

They're making Bloodborne because Sony approached them.

I knew that but i said the reason they tried to make it a new franchise because they don't want people confuse between Souls games. And i think Bamco wouldn't like it if Sony made a game similar to Dark Souls (yeah, i know, they share the same idea but diffirent style)

PC fans just gonna have to take this one on the chin. Personally, I feel like I have enough shit to play that I'm not even mad. I'll pick up a dirt cheap ps4 black friday bundle in a couple years when there's more than 1 game I want for it.

Bloodborne? 0%. Same as Demon Souls.
Sequel series with slightly different name a couple years from now? Eh. Who knows.

Sony already knocked off a Bamco property once this year, so I dunno about that. Bandai Namco's stake in Dark Souls is up in the air with Kadokawa's purchase as well. Western publishing will probably stay with BN, but who knows.
