How long does it take to beat ???

Tomb Raider Anniversary PSP: 19 hours

Now I can continue with Driver 76 and combine it with Tactics Ogre and a bit of Ys I&II on the psp! But it might be time to go back and finish Final Fantasy IV DS and Folklore on the ps3 first. Decisions decisions!

Here's some details i could get from my PS3 savegame datas:

Bulletstorm, 7 hours
Castlevania Lords of Shadow, 15 hours
Dead Space, 6.5 hours
God of War 3, 9 hours
Saints Row 2, 27 hours
Yakuza 3, 22 hours

Dragon Warrior VII and Dragon Quest VII: Warriors of Eden are the same game. They are posted separately on the list.
Thanks, I combined them with the Dragon Warrior since I assume most people played the English version and there is no Nintendo DS port of it.

Thanks to the latest email I got from xbox.com I can add the following:

The Sims 3 Xbox 360 (1000/1000) - 82 hours

That's probably a bit inflated since I had to leave the game on when I wasn't playing it near the end due to the dreaded save bug.

But it's obvious that Microsoft is tracking how long we play each game, I wish they would give us a way to access those stats.

Fallout New Vegas: 50h

-edit- I've gone back to my last savegame (2h before the ending) and did a bunch of extra quests, the Dead Money DLC and another storyline (House in stead of NCR) and I clocked in at 70h.

I don't know how that's going to be in the list, but I thought you should know :)

(I edited because the first posts says it's been updated to post 254 and this is 260).

Somehow a bunch of my old games don't show any play time, perhaps it is a new feature that Steam has implemented
it is. They implemented it in 09 I want to say. They are missing over half of my counter strike source hours. Anyways great thread. I'll pop in here to compare my completion time to other gaffers. I don't have any hard numbers on me right now.

Yakuza - 23:52

Nearly 100% completion. (Beat all 73 side missions, including the super-hard optional boss. Beat all the underground tournaments. Finished with 17 million yen in pocket [Yay, blackjack]. Only thing I really skipped was the hostess girls and about 10 coin locker keys).

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition - 50 hours (35 hours Origins, 11 hours Awakening, rest the various DLC campaigns)
Bulletstorm - 7 hours
Killzone 3 - 6 hours

I took around 100 hours to complete, it's the longest I played a single player game, loved every minute of it(er..except the grinding/random battles).

Dragon Quest VIII requires no grinding though...

Not scientific but the main story of Bulletstorm took me ~8 hours of play.

Assassin's Creed 2 - 45h, without all the feathers.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - 35h, without all the flags.

I actually feel bad for the guy who beat AC2 in 12h.

Honestly I find that time hard to beileve. And if it's true totally misrepresents the game.

Rainbow Six Vegas - 10 hours
Splinter Cell Conviction - 6 hours
Mass Effect - 25 hours
Mass Effect2 - 35 hours, all achievements/missions/assignments 65 hours.

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars - approximately 24 hours for the GDI campaign.
Dead Space 2 - 10 hours.
Kane & Lynch: Dog Days - 4 hours.
Chrono Trigger DS - about 28 hours.

Last one finished:
Golden Sun Dark Dawn -- 38:20
100% * [all summons and djinns]

*I did miss the Haures tablet due to one Point of no Return, but this is counting using the Endless Wall glitch to go get it. Unfortunately you can't go back so I used another save slot.

Folklore: 25 hours including playing a lot of DLCs. Though it feels like the in-game timer is running slower for some reason, it feels like the game lasted me 35 hours.

Just finished (1st playthrough)

Batman Arkham Asylum - > 50 percent (About what you'd get in a normal playthrough if you explore but not backtrack, which is what I did) -> 9.5 hours

Also I think there should be a note on first playthrough versus experienced playthrough. The time it takes to complete it the first time is much different than in other playthroughs in almost any game I've played (unless there are unskippable cutscenes or the game is just a trek down 1 hallway with nothing to explore and learn)

Castlevania SOTN Speedrun:
Alucard - less than 1 hour
Richter - less than 10 minutes

Braid Speedrun:
Less than 45 minutes (for the achievement)

Contra Speedrun:
10-15 minutes

Final Fantasy VII Speedrun:
The record is just over 7 hours, but abuses save files to avoid fights iirc.

GTA III:
Main Story - 5 hours

Gunstar Heroes:
Main Story - 60 minutes

Marvel Ultimate Alliance:
Main Story - 6 hours

Mega Man 2 Speedrun:
35 minutes

Pac-Man Championship Edition Speedrun:
I'm not sure what would entail a speedrun, but if you mean earning all achieves, 2 hours or so.

Panzer Dragoon Saga:
Main Story - 13 hours

Scott Pilgrim Speedrun:
67 minutes

Shadow of Memories:
Completionist - 11 hours

Super Mario World Speedrun:
12 minutes

Test Drive Unlimited:
Main Story - 25 hours

Raw Danger:
Main Story: 5 hours
Completionist: 30 hours

This is a really good idea. I was looking for a site like the one you are compiling just a few months ago and was disappointed that there wasn't a better database.

Anyhow:

Crayon Physics Deluxe:
Basic Game - 7.2 hours

Defense Grid: the Awakening:
Main Story (plus restarts) - 8.9 hours

Mass Effect 2
Main Story + Additional Content - 35.2 hours

Plants vs Zombies
Main Story - 5.5 hours

Torchlight
Main Story + Additional - 15.4 hours

World of Goo
Main Story - 5.7 hours

Fallout 3 - 40 hours
Batman Arkham Asylum - 11 hours
Star Wars The Force Unleashed - 9 hours
Uncharted - 10 hours

This thread just saved me a whole lot of headaches to decide whether I have enough free time in the coming days for a certain game. Thanks!

Crysis 2 (PS3): 7-12 hrs depending how much u abuse the stealth and if ur going for the collectibles and other useless crap.

(How do you guys see the amount of time it took?? Can't see shit from the saves)

Pokemon White

Main: 35 hours.
Main + Additional: 60 hours.
Completionist (just the new 153 currently obtainable): 130 hours.

Pokemon SoulSilver

Completionist (all 493, imported unobtainables and Safari-only from other games): 250 hours.

Dragon Quest IX

Main: 45 hours.

Man, I need to go back and write all of these down. Maybe I'll do that this week.

Everything in thread has been added to this post. The site did OK on reddit thanks to TSAGoodness in this thread. I thought I would post it on Digg.com to see how it would do. Help me out if you like the idea. I'd like to get as many times as possible to get accurate stats.
